Προφίλ

We moved to France in 2003 to create our campsite at Aux Mêmes, once a typical Gascony farm. The hill-top farmhouses and campsite all have views of the Pyrenees and surrounding countryside and are set in 10 hectares (22 acres) …of rolling farmland. Most of the land at Aux Mêmes is still farmed today, the rest being made up of several woods and a small vineyard. Our aim is to provide a relaxed friendly environment where everyone can enjoy a stress free break and take home some wonderful memories of their own. We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and we are constantly updating and improving within the cosy atmosphere of a site with less than 30 pitches. In July and August we serve food that is freshly cooked and where possible with local produce including eggs from our own hens and we have bread and patisserie delivered fresh each morning from a local baker. From June we have a good selection of local French wines and beers on draught that we are proud to serve. We love live music so each summer we host free open air concerts one or two evenings per week with local and touring artists of various nationalities and musical genres. Facilities: -Electric/Water hookup -Free Showers, toilets and wash-basins with facilities for the disabled -Laundry with washing machine and ironing board/iron -Drying Room -Washing up sinks with hot and cold water -Free Wi-Fi -Children’s Swings and Slide -Bar open from 8am till late (June, July & August) -TV – no need to miss the big sporting events – Tour de France, Olympics etc. -Terrace Café serving lunch and evening meals (July & August) -Boulangerie/Patisserie delivered fresh each morning -Swimming Pool 12m x 6m open from June until September -BBQ -Table tennis -Live Music Dogs are welcome free of charge but must be kept on a lead at all times on the campsite. There are lovely walks in our adjacent fields and woods where dogs can be exercised off lead. You must clear up after your dog at all times.
