WLAN poorA bit like wild camping - but with infrastructureAs there are no fixed pitches, it's a bit like wild camping or a tent camp. You can find a nice, hopefully shady spot and are only a few steps from the sea.
No large motorhomes/caravans. No permanent campers. Wonderful! During the Whitsun vacations, there were almost exclusively Germans on the site.
There are a little too few power connections, long cables may be necessary.
Sanitary facilities very basic, but clean.

Very pleasant at the end of the season as it is only sparsely occupied. In the high season, however, it must be very cramped and chaotic as there is a free choice of pitches without marked out pitches. Sanitary facilities are fine. The site is not parceled out. This is rare and creates a unique atmosphere. Of course, it can get a bit chaotic when it gets full. There could be more power points, so take a long cable with you. The facilities are very basic, as is usual in France... for a three-star campsite, e.g. you have to carry your own toilet paper around. The water in the showers wasn't hot either, which isn't a problem in July. A note for campers: there are ants, lots of ants and the ground is rock-hard in places. The prices in high season are steep, but ok, that's the location. The restaurant is very good (you have to make a reservation) and also ok in terms of price, the small store with bread is very practical and well stocked. Reservations are not possible, but even in July this was not a problem. Annoying: Only cash payment and WLAN (at the restaurant) can be forgotten.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The site is beautifully situated and, depending on the pitch, it's just a few steps to the beach. The site has spacious pitches, some in the shade and some in the sun. The sanitary facilities are located in two areas, with a newer and an older sanitary building. The... toilets were always well cleaned and in good order despite the large number of guests. The small store at the entrance offers the most important vegetables, fruit and bread as well as toys for the kids. The restaurant offers delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven. The team on the pitch was very friendly. It was usually very quiet at night. Only once was there an event somewhere in the distance that could be heard. The beach is quite narrow but offers enough space. The rocks to the right and left of the bay are great for children to look for crabs and fish. There were lots of families with children. The welcome was very friendly and English is also spoken if necessary. We could choose a pitch. There are no pitches. It is a spacious, fairly undulating site, left in its natural state with trees of varying density. Some pitches have a view of the... neighboring lagoon. A long cable is sometimes necessary. The path to the next water point and the next sanitary building (of which there are 2) is also a little further. The sanitary buildings are clean, but very basic. The temperature in the showers cannot be regulated and nothing can be kept dry in the cabins. There is no possibility to hang anything on the washbasins and there is only cold water. The same goes for washing up, there is a central hot water tap (but it doesn't always provide hot water - sometimes it's too hot when showering). The beach is narrow and long in a quiet, sheltered bay. The water is crystal clear, very shallow with fine sand. There is a store with everything you need and a good restaurant. Cars must be parked in a parking lot within the campsite. Don't forget your ant powder. Incidentally, it was very quiet on the campsite.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The campsite is right by the sea and the beach stretches for several hundred meters, so you can always find a nice spot. Although there are no showers directly on the beach, there... are a few on the campsite grounds near the beach access. We were particularly impressed by the small store with super friendly staff, which has everything you need on a campsite (not cheap, of course, but worth supporting). We were able to choose our pitch on the campsite as there weren't many people there (which is of course different in high season). It is always well received at reception if you try to speak French, but English is also spoken very well. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and were in very good condition. Sanitary facilities at the lowest level.With the T5 California at Camping CaliforniaAs we are traveling with the VW T5 California and one of the most beautiful campsites in Corsica is called "California", this campsite was a "must-visit" for us. In fact, this campsite was also the most expensive on our trip to Corsica. What exactly was the value of this campsite? It certainly wasn't... the sanitary facilities. It was like being transported back to the worst days of the GDR. The only thing missing were plum toilets. Although to be fair, the facilities were always clean. The fact that the site is very popular is certainly due to the fact that the site has access to a dream beach that is reminiscent of Caribbean conditions. You can easily pay €53 per night for this. The reception at the campsite was extremely friendly. It was always clean. The prices in the restaurant for a beer during the 2016 European Football Championships exceeded the prices at the Oktoberfest in Munich, but well, as a campsite you have to make sales when it suits you. Apart from the price and the low-level sanitary facilities, there is nothing else negative to say about this campsite. The site is large and mainly planted with pine trees and cork oaks and is about 2 kilometers from the nearest town. The reception was very friendly and helpful. There is a tennis court, a restaurant and a small supermarket on... the site. There are two sanitary blocks, which were always clean. However, in the larger of the two sanitary blocks, the shower drains were blocked. You have free choice of pitch. The V+E for camper vans was good. The only drawback: next to the access to the beautiful beach, the gray water of the campsite was discharged into the sand, which resulted in a considerable odor nuisance.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
