Unfortunately we were considered by some "only" as campers. Unfortunately there were a lot of dogs on site!Vacation August 2023Me and my friend spent 1 week at this campsite and experienced hospitality at its best. Operator always on site and always took care of everything. Cleanliness in WC etc. Always well maintained. Of course there are drawbacks but they are sought after. There are also Dutch speaking staff.ΑρνητικάMosquitoes. Pool should be allowed to stay open a little longer on hot days.Fine campingEspecially nice and relaxed campsite. Friendly staff, willingness is great to please. Un-Italian: no bathing caps or short trunks required in the pool. Just a pity that we had a lot of trouble with mosquitoes in the evening. We received a very friendly welcome from the moment we were greeted by the staff. The manager helped us very intensively and gave us tips, as we had a problem at a toll station on arrival. The site is wonderfully green like a park,... lots of trees and the sanitary facilities are super clean. It is an oasis, you feel completely at ease and we were able to relax very well here. Everything you need is within walking distance. We will definitely be back as there is no mass tourism here and the atmosphere on the site is wonderful. The site has very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, it is not very suitable for motorhomes as the pitches are rather small. The store for morning rolls etc. is a five-minute walk away. The sanitary facilities are... clean, unfortunately there are rather few normal toilets, but mainly only standing toilets. Simple and clean sanitary facilities. Very tasty food and everything is within easy reach even for self-caterers. There are sometimes concerts and the operators are wonderfully warm and friendly. Pool area centrally located next to sanitary buildings. Sanitary facilities romantic but clean and well equipped. If you don't like the south-facing stand-up toilets, there are individual seating options. A good mix of permanent campers and spacious... tourist pitches in various areas. Very friendly owners and also friendly interaction on the site. The historic village of Orta San Giulio can be easily reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes and is a real feast for the eyes for lovers of ancient towns.
