Very simple facilities on an old farmstead with few pitches, but goats, donkeys and rabbits in the immediate vicinity - and a children's playground. But this is a paradise for families with children - and that's... exactly what the operators stand for!
You can feel their caring hand everywhere. It would probably take decades to turn this site into a "normal" modern campsite.
But after 6 days at the Finsterhof, we doubt whether that would be necessary.
The new, somewhat small sanitary facilities are unisex, so don't be surprised. They are also available elsewhere.

A few more fixed tables with benches would be ideal, especially for those who arrive by bike or car and don't have space in their luggage.Very relaxing vacationThe campsite is located in a rural area that offers plenty of nature for hiking or cycling. The city center with a swimming pool is very close and offers everything you need. Vienna can be reached in a short time both by car and by train. The operators are very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. Great for switching off.
