Simple place with a great beach
The site has a fantastic location - on terraces on the rocky coast of the Gargano, about 15 m above the sea. A staircase leads to the pebble bay. The campsite price (22 euros for 2 people in the first week of July) includes an umbrella and sun loungers.) Unfortunately, it is not easy to find a good,... shady pitch. Sparsely populated by permanent campers, often low olive trees (we are 3.05 m high), sometimes mat roofs, but beware: at a height of approx. 3m. In the end, however, we found a nice spot for us. It should also be noted that the pitches could be better maintained. The 2 large sanitary buildings also look neglected, although they used to be very nice. Unfortunately there are only 9 hot showers, right at the top behind the restaurant. Have fun when you're at the bottom. To make up for this, years ago dozens of toilets were installed, the number of which would not actually be necessary and which are no longer so well maintained. However, we had two small, brand new sanitary cabins with toilets and washbasins downstairs. The cabins are already equipped for showers, but there is still no hot water supply. I'm curious to see if something will happen. The camping store is small, but has everything you need and is reasonably priced. You can eat in the campsite restaurant or in one of the beach bars, which become a restaurant in the evening. The food there is good and cheap. Despite the obvious shortcomings, we felt very comfortable there and decided for ourselves: it's a place to come back to
