The site itself is beautifully laid out and has lots of trees. There are no pitches. If you're lucky, you'll find a pitch with a view of Venice. But then you also have the dubious pleasure of huge cruise ships, container ships and other... large ships passing right in front of your nose, because the large port of Venice is right next to it. Airplanes are also constantly flying over the square.
Apart from Venice and possible boat trips to a beach, there's not much to do there. Plots are not demarcated. Although several facilities are closed, such as swimming pool, you pay €43.40 per night.Convenient location, poor terrainWorthwhile only for visiting Venice. But it is. The pitch is not parceled out, it is chaotically placed wherever it suits. Noisy in the evenings despite the low season. Muggy and... humid, wind only directly at the waterline.
Pasta for lunch rather poor, pizza in the evening really good!
Pool was closed, frogs in the foot basin in front of it. In the first row from pitch 14 or 15, the power cable lies across the pathIdeal for VeniceThe drinking water is heavily chlorinated, so water bottles were a must for us, in the small supermarket a 1 1/2 liter bottle costs 1 €, a chemical toilet for the entire site, approach route to Venice Airport, more suitable for motorhomes, we were lucky with our caravan (7.20 meters) to get a parking... space, as there are many trees on the areas and the campers park their vehicles wildly mixed up. Although the site was almost empty due to Corona and all the accompanying circumstances, we were able to use the entire infrastructure. Cleanliness,... very good, very friendly staff and due to the proximity to the passenger ferry top location for a Venice vacation....
Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather. In rainy weather, the seats in the front row are not recommended. Large puddles form in and under the awning. The ground softens and becomes very muddy. The approach through an industrial estate seems strange, but eventually leads to the destination. We had a pitch right on the lagoon with a fantastic view of Venice (only a few € per day more than the pitches at the back). The... sanitary facilities were plentiful and always very clean. There is a ferry to Venice opposite the campsite, so you had a perfect connection to the lagoon city (you can get tickets at the campsite). Ideal starting point for a trip to Venice, very good connections by vaporettos (every 1/2 hour). Well-kept, unparceled site, good power supply (16A), sufficient water connections, large trees ensure coolness in the hot summer. WCs & shower facilities very well maintained. So there is nothing worth seeing or similar around the campsite. There is no parcelling out, so the gentleman at reception said we could pitch wherever we wanted. Of course,... this caused a bit of chaos on the site. The old sanitary facilities were closed, the new ones were open. Unfortunately, they were only cleaned very sparingly, so it was usually quite dirty. Worse still, the shower rooms and toilets are not heated in winter. And that at sub-zero temperatures was not so nice. The restaurant, kiosk, store etc. were not open, so it was not possible to eat on the pitch. Washing up is only possible outside, and only in one place, as most of the pipes were frozen. A positive aspect is the proximity to the ferry terminal to Venice. It is a 2-minute walk from the barrier to the pier. Tickets can be bought on site. The big ships pass right by the square. Some people may find it annoying, others may not. I thought it was quite nice to see. Unfortunately, there are no barrier times, so some campers were still arriving at 10 pm, driving onto the site and doing 3 laps to find the perfect spot. Tickets are available at the campsiteΑρνητικάSmall, rather expensive kiosk"Big pots"We actually only wanted to stay here for one night, this place is ideal for a trip to Venice, but my husband was thrilled. We were in the front row and could watch all the large and small ships. The campsite is right on the jetty for the car ferry to Greece. There was always something going on here.... The sanitary facilities are relatively new and were very clean in our time. However, you won't find any peace and quiet here, as the small motorboats and airplanes are constantly on the move until around 10 pm. However, this didn't bother us.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The described aircraft noise should not be underestimated, but otherwise it is fine. The old sanitary facilities are terrible - make sure you use the new ones,... they broke down once but were taken care of straight away. However, there were old and new sanitary facilities. The old ones were not in use in April, but looked terrible. The new sanitary facilities are great though. Everything is there! The connection to Venice is super easy. The airplanes fly directly over the campsite and are correspondingly... loud...but that didn't bother us.
