The surroundings and especially the sanitary facilities lack proper maintenance. The toilet seat in one toilet was torn off. In one double shower cubicle, one shower head was defective and the other shower device was broken. The corners and edges of the toilet and shower were very dirty. Although the granfather speaks only Albanian he made sure to make us feel at home. His son, instead, spoke in Italian and he gave us important informations about Albanian society and its history. At night we found ourselves in the very middle of a typhoon. Lots of fear, some repairable damage, unimaginable thoughtfulness on the part of... the managers. They had the roof almost blown off, the garden devastated,the camping mats that were new all broken, but they cared before the guests. They even gave us 2 roses at the departure.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Had expected more from the restaurant, know the Albanian cuisine, this one was more on a fast food basis and more Greek - meatball meatballs are not Albanian! About the Roller Hotel Bus, if you think they created kaos this is not because of us,is because of the kind of people that were travelling with that Roller Hotel Bus.
About the restaurant, please keep in mind that our city is only 31 km distant from Greek border and of course we (us and greek)have things in common with each other,including cooking recipies. We cook traditional recipies of our city.- Stuart W.October 2018ΘετικάNear the town, good facilities and great restaurantΑρνητικάNone really, its just a bit of a small site but the great people of Albania deserve our support.Great little siteStayed here in October 2018. You can walk to the old town but it takes about 30mins. We walked in one day and took a taxi there the second day. Staff are very relaxed and friendly. Good facilities but its only has limited space for motorhomes. Super restaurant on the site and we ate there at very reasonable cost for good quality food. I suggest you book ahead but its the best site to visit the town. Go there it will not disappoint.

The owners are speaking English and Italian very well and they are creating a real friendly and nice atmosphere. We went to the city of Gjirokaster by bike, which worked quite well. Wonderful starting point for visiting towns and of course Butrint. Delicious food in the restaurant and how nice to receive a welcome drink. - Jörg F.August 2017ΘετικάEven in the hottest evenings, a refreshing breeze blows across the English lawn of the beer garden with its great view.Very nice hostsEnglish lawn for tents, partial sun protection, wonderful views across the plain to the mountains and the lights of Gjirokaster at night. And the most important thing: (unfortunately probably not every day): excellent Albanian cuisine and great Albanian folk music in the background. For that, this small campsite is very suitable. Wine and raki are produced on site and the campsite is highly recommended. It is very well run and is exceptionally well-kept and clean. There is a small restaurant on site where you can eat very well. - Bartosz B.August 2016Best place to camp of all I have visited in Albania!Well I must say that this camp was absolutely lovely and the best of all I have been when I was cycling in Albania. It is quite and cozy. It is only 2 km from the center so you can just walk to Gijrokastra just in 15 minutes. Perfect! Very clean place. You can set a tent on green. But what I found most... attractive there? People! Family who lives there are awesome. Completely focused on you. They treat you very individual and offer their help in everything, also with information about city or things worth to see all around Albania. I am so glad that I stayed there for two nights. I am absolutely sure that If I had more time I would stay there much longer! Love you guys! The campsite is very comfortable and family run. Excellent kind welcome from the lady and her husband. The facilities are very clean.
