In February, after a long search and many emails (phone not switched on) with the operator, reserved a quiet Comfortplus pitch, far from the busy road, for June. This was also confirmed to us in writing. Two days before the start of our vacation we asked again if everything... was ok. The operator confirmed that everything was fine. However, a completely different pitch, close to the road, was then reserved for us! The reason given was a change due to the bad weather. After asking around, it turned out that our pitch had been given to a permanent camper. So no problem because of the weather! Just an excuse. Answer from the operator: "If we didn't understand that, then unfortunately it would be like that. We could also cancel." Which we then had to decide on, because there was no other pitch available. And we didn't want a pitch on the street. We had specifically reserved a quiet spot. We also didn't want to get annoyed with the unresponsive operator on site. And who knows what else could have happened.
Conclusion: booked early and still no vacation! Only trouble!
This is absolutely not on! Bottom drawer! On this site, a reservation is only advantageous for the operator, not for the guest. Permanent campers have priority, other guests have to take a back seat. Even after a confirmed reservation!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The town of Renesse is just a few minutes' walk away, and the dune belt to the really wide sandy beach can be reached very quickly on foot.
The absolute majority of vacationers (many permanent guests) come from... Germany.
Unfortunately the supermarket was only open in the morning and the bread rolls were quickly sold out. If someone is bothered by dogs then this is not their place.Good camping close to the seaSmall store, but it actually has everything you need, bringing the caravan to the place with the tractor was great, as the access to some places is quite narrow, the pickup also worked great. This is our 4th time in Renesse, having been to Julianahoeve 3 times before, but we came here because we had a dog. The staff are very nice and helpful. Many vacationers with dogs. The supermarket has... a lot of choice and the bathrooms have all been renovated. Distance to the beach approx. 10 min. on foot and to the town 20 min. Recommended as there are some corners that are quite narrow. The place and the sanitary facilities... very clean, the only drawback, if you know it, it should be booked with wooden pallets when booking, in the rain we had a lot these days, the water is directly in the awning and our awning carpet was directly messed up, unfortunately we learned it from a permanent camper only 3 days later that the service with the wooden pallets is offered. The whole campsite is surrounded by hedges and very well maintained. Sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. Everything is constantly looked after and maintained. Every member of staff is always friendly... and always has a smile for the guests. The beach is within easy walking distance and is really great. We were informed by telephone that this was stated on the reservation letter. We had to wait 4 hours in a public parking lot, which was incomprehensible to us, especially as the owners live on the site. When we checked... in, we were told that the Comfort + pitches we had booked were unfortunately taken, which was great. We were allocated 2 other pitches, which were also very nice. We really liked the place, the store had bread rolls, croissants and delicious coffee. You could also buy everyday necessities at fair prices. The showers/toilets were always clean, but charging 20 cents for hot dishwater is probably no longer in keeping with the times. The beach is within walking distance, where you can pass the time wonderfully and stop off in one of the nice pavilions. The campsite staff are very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately somewhat poorly organized. We were not given a key for the water points and the key for the separate children's bathroom didn't fit (we were probably given the key for a disabled toilet). Of course,... we noticed both after the reception closed. The great beach is within easy reach and Renesse is also within walking distance. Overall, however, the many annoying little things were too much of a nuisance for me. If the operator would improve here it would be a top place. How you get hot water here is absolutely out of date. You have to pay 20 cents to wash the dishes and then you get a bowl of hot water. To take a shower you have to activate the hot water with a button and then you have hot water for a few minutes, but beware, it can't be activated a second time, the hot water remains blocked for a while afterwards! The wash houses themselves are well maintained, but are getting on in years, and there are relatively few showers and toilets. What bothered me the most was that the site consists almost exclusively of dead ends. This means that the children can never do laps on their bikes. In addition, the pitches are planted in groups of about 10 pitches with hedges higher than 3 meters, you feel hemmed in and can never see more than a few meters. The paths are also extremely narrow and paved with 90 degree bends. Caravans sometimes have to be maneuvered by the site management with a tractor. The designated pitches for motorhomes are far too short and almost impossible to reach. We were just able to drive in, but unfortunately the spaces directly in the bends were so full of caravans that we scratched the whole side in the hedges when we drove out.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Toilets outside, very narrow, no possibility to wash your hands with soap, shower cubicle very narrow,... water not adjustable and with a time limit. If you needed longer, you had to wait at least 3-4 minutes for the water to come back. Poor cleanliness in the sanitary area. We were all disgusted. The supermarket was ok, if a bit expensive. The RATTEN on the pitch were also great. It was great to be right behind the dunes. Unfortunately, the good location does not outweigh the need to go to this campsite again. Showers: 3 minutes hot water then cold for 3 minutes. Very nice. Washing and toilets separate. No hooks at the washbasins. Here hot water approx. 3 seconds via sensor, can at least be started again immediately. There is no step or similar... for children in the adult washrooms and no socket for the hairdryer in the children's washroom. We know a few Dutch campsites, but something like this here is from the 70s/80s. There is also no soap dispenser in the toilet. Instead there is a towel dispenser that is always out of order. An ideal campsite directly behind the dunes and dyke, with access to the cycle and hiking trail network. It is worth buying a map with the junctions (EUR 5.00). Then you can go on wonderful tours on foot or by bike. Everything is well organized and well... signposted. And then you can also sunbathe. The infrastructure of the motorhome site is extremely positive. Paved pitches with a patch of grass next door. Supply station at the barrier. Registration at the campsite reception. The campsite's sanitary facilities (especially the showers) could be updated again. A small makeover would create additional comfort. Nice reception. Shopping facilities on site or in the immediate vicinity of Renesse. The small town is about 2 km from the campsite and is easily accessible. There are small stores, supermarkets and restaurants. The garden center is particularly worth a visit.
