Never again!!!Due to the current quarantine regulations (our federal state is still classified as a risk area by Switzerland and entails a mandatory 10-day quarantine in Switzerland ... a no go for 1 planned vacation week in Switzerland) we had to cancel the pitch.
We canceled the pitch with arrival day 23.05.21 in... writing on 20.04.21 (i.e. in due time before the end of the 31st day before arrival) and asked for a refund of the deposit of CHF 300 (CHF 320 - CHF 20 cancellation fee) to which we were entitled according to the general terms and conditions. We did not receive either the requested confirmation of cancellation or the refund. The operator also did not respond to our emails and contact forms (on the CP homepage) from 26, 29.04., 04, 11.05. and 24.05.2021 (recently the answer at info@clm.ch comes that pitch reservations are currently not accepted). The operator cannot be reached by phone (after an automatic tape announcement and forwarding, all employees are supposedly constantly on the phone =》request to call at a later time or write an e-mail to info@clm.ch), there are no other communication channels. The decision to go to Ticino was made at short notice and we didn't regret it for a second. The whole week was accompanied by beautiful weather, which of course also helped to make a very good impression. Our children (3 and 5 years old) felt at home very quickly! The parents too. The site is ideal for families, especially with small children (fortunately for us, there is no entertainment). Spacious pitches, grass and lots of shady trees, plus 3 playgrounds,... very good on-site facilities (both restaurant and small store). In addition, the operators are extremely friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but very clean and plentiful. It quickly becomes very quiet in the evening, and the operator also ensures that the night's rest is respected. We slept with the window open, which we have never done before on any campsite, and it was as quiet as a mouse. The fact that dogs are not allowed on the site certainly contributes to this. The lake access and sandy beach are spacious and always clean. There is also a lot to do in the surrounding area. All in all, we left nothing to be desired. This campsite - directly adjacent to the much larger and busier Campofelice campsite - is a clear recommendation, especially for families, and is nowhere near as crowded as Campofelice. We stayed here in the absolute high season without a reservation. There were already around 20 campers on the Campofelice waiting area (backyard of a haulage company) - and we were there for a short time. Even after the night's rest, young people and the young at heart were loud for a long time... We bought earplugs to sleep in the tent in the front row because it was just too loud. - Kristina P.Αύγουστος 2013We found the place very nice. Our children (9 and 12) were also delighted. The beach is beautiful, the bay is closed off by buoys so that nothing can happen with the boats. There is a swimming island with a slide, which was very popular. Although we were there in August, the place was pretty empty. The... staff are very friendly, the site is very clean, the sanitary facilities are old but also clean. The site itself is very quiet, you can only sometimes hear something from the sports facility next door and from Camping Campofelice, but that didn't bother us. The new campsite was renovated and enlarged in 2011 and has new sanitary facilities as well as different sized pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes with water connections. - Patricia C.Ιούλιος 2012Well located campsite. Our pitch was rather small. One of the four showers (for the women) did not work. Water automatically changed to very hot or very cold water. The baby bathtub (in the changing room) only had cold water. The beach is nice with a meadow lounger or sandy beach, but there are no showers.... During the day we had the "noise" from the sports center and in the evening from the campsite next door. Either you get annoyed or you are happy about the free music. Very positive: you can go by without a reservation in the high season (weekend) and still have space, even for just 2 nights.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The site is suitable for funfair campers in high season. - Large campsite on Lake Maggiore, campsite's own assessment "4 stars" - Unfamiliar - Full animation, therefore very loud, especially in the evening... from 7 pm - If no own animation, then the neighboring campsite "Campofelice" provides "atmosphere" - Sanitary facilities not sufficient, flushing in the evening associated with queuing - Good, safe power supply - Narrow access lane for the pitches close to the beach (width approx. 2.70m) - Outrageous ice cream prices at the restaurant - Inflexible staff ("... that's not in the computer system, so that's not possible..." - Increased wasps due to free garbage bag holders and beverage can collectors - Perfect starting point for excursions (free ferry to Locarno, bus to Tenero), there is a lot to experience on Lake Maggiore - Large shopping center within 15 minutes walking distance (also sells camping items) - Very good gelateria nearby (best ice cream in Locarno in the tunnel at the market) - Access to the camper station (supply and disposal) very narrow, maneuvering requiredΑυτόματη μετάφραση.

And: there were four of us, aged between 25 and 30, and we were described as a "group of young people" - which would not normally be tolerated on a campsite. Hello?
