- Roman B.July 2019Quite good, but not much shadeIn any case, we would have needed a bit more shade at our pitch. There are awnings on the pitches concerned, but they hardly keep the sun out. Otherwise, everything was fine, including the pool, which unfortunately closes at 7pm.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Christoph A.July 2018ΘετικάLocation, good value for money, river a short distance from the campsite, friendly staffΑρνητικάnoneWell located campsiteFrom Le Barralet you can easily visit the towns and sights in the surrounding area, as the site is relatively centrally located in between (Avignon, Nimes, Uzès, for example), the Pont du Gard is approx. 6 km away. The pitches are partly naturally shaded by trees and partly by fabric "canopies". However,... it is still hot at the end of July :) Electricity and WLAN available for a fee, easy to set up/use (electricity connections not at every pitch, so take a cable drum with you!) The sanitary facilities are simple and functional and were always clean during our stay. Two days a week, hawkers come to the site and sell olives, cornichons and all sorts of odds and ends. On Wednesdays there is a kind of dance event at the bar, very relaxed. The restaurant offers pizza and snacks, the adjoining grocery store sells baguettes/croissants and all kinds of groceries every day (on a small scale, and not complete, but absolutely sufficient!). Five minutes' walk away is the Gardon, where you can swim quite well. It probably has a lot more water in spring/autumn than in summer, but it's good enough for swimming even then. The river is a big plus for the campsite and an important source of cooling :) There were two of us with a tent and we would camp there again at any time, so we can only recommend the site.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

- Natascha G.August 2017ΘετικάThe view of the river and the bridge from the restaurant and pool. Location for excursions. General friendlinessΑρνητικάLack of mosquito screens. Store too few products (partly no milk, butter, other standards)small friendly placeWe were there for 2 weeks in Aug 2017. Family with 2 children, 5 and 8, had a mobile home. It was really small 21sqm, but otherwise well equipped, in kitchen, everything you need, patio furniture, drying rack. Very small beds, no mosquito screens in front of the windows, so we were looking for mosquitoes... every evening! We bought nets in the supermarket and stuck them in front of the windows. It was very hot (30-37 degrees). Sometimes the wind came up in the evening, which was wonderful. The site is very green, lots of shade, on some pitches and in very few mobile homes there were great views of the panorama. The rest of the mobile homes: you look at the cars parked right next to the mobile homes or at other mobile homes. We hardly used the sanitary facilities because they were MHs, but they looked clean but dated. The restaurant was run by a couple of guys, they had a lot of fun, were super nice, but the food was only ok. You could eat it, but there were lots of good restaurants in the village. The camping store mainly had bread and croissants in the morning, otherwise really hardly anything. In the village, within walking distance, there are two small corner shops, a good bakery and a large supermarket in the next larger village 10 minutes by car. Several kayak rentals right down by the river. Swimming in the river was great. But it was all rocks, so water shoes were essential. Jumping from the rocks into the river was a hit with the kids (and adults). The path from the campsite down to the river is a bit steep, then leads over rocks and through the river, is not possible with a baby carriage and not really suitable for small children. I would say 4 years and up is fine. Kayak/canoe rental from all providers from 6 years. Climbing is available from 5 years directly down in the village. Horse riding at the exclusively French-speaking riding stables from the age of 5. Great base for many excursions. Good mix of mobile homes and tents. Little entertainment in the evenings. Pool very full, but plenty of sun loungers and parasols available. The campsite was fully booked in the first week, but not overcrowded. Hardly any German guests, almost only French. Some of the staff only speak French. Very friendly management, informal, very friendly everyone. We felt very comfortable. Great riding stables nearby.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

- Stefan T.April 2014The location of the campsite is very nice. The distances to Pont-Du-Gard, Avignon, Nimes... is manageable. There is a playground, a pool, private access to the river and a baguette service. The restaurant offers light snacks. A good starting point for hikes or canoe trips. It's a good place to stay.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
