Good but...
Camping factory stop. Straight paths, one pitch after another to the left and right in the meadow. At least the pitches are reasonably large enough and some of them are shaded by trees. It's a shame that some of the branches are far too low and make part of the plot unusable for tall motorhomes. I was... surprised that it was very quiet despite being a camping town. On the pitch and in the surrounding area anyway. There is nothing to disturb the peace and quiet. Water points are nearby. The sanitary facilities are ok for the bare necessities, but nothing more. Open and unheated. The water temperature cannot be adjusted when showering or washing up. At these prices, I honestly expected more. They are cleaned diligently. But the campers do their best to make sure they don't stay clean for long. I hope that's not always the case. The lake is actually just a few steps away. The "private beach" is an access to the lake. There is meadow, then the footpath, forest and reeds. A 10-metre-wide hole in the vegetation provides access to the water. But there are plenty of alternatives along Lac d Annecy.

Nice quiet campsite right on the lake
Booking the pitch was super easy and friendly. A week before our vacation, we even received an email with tips for activities.
We had a pitch in the front row. The pitches are all big enough and most of them have shade. The access to the campsite is a bit narrow but also manageable for larger caravans....
The large sunbathing lawn and private access to the lake are great.
The sanitary facilities were always clean despite full occupancy. Unfortunately, the lights in the toilets were switched off from 22:30, so you had to go to the toilet at night with a flashlight.
You can buy fresh baguettes and sweet pastries on site in the morning.
The cycle path around the lake is very close by.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The pizza chef doesn't take his job seriously and should be replaced, because the idea of a pizza oven in a car is classic
beautifully situated directly on the lake
This campsite has its own access to Lake Annecy. The host family is very friendly and helpful and speaks several languages. A small well-stocked store is always open and there is also an original pizza station. A network of cycle paths runs around the lake and passes right by the campsite.

Manch Dinge (Bouleplatz, Tischtennisplatten, etc.) wirken ungepflegt, bzw. sind gar nicht mehr nutzbar.
Sehr nah am See gelegen und weit ab von der Durchgangsstraße
Eigentlich ein super Campingplatz. Liegt sehr nah am See, nur durch eine freie Wiese vom See getrennt. Stellplätze recht unterschiedlich groß. Die Wasserversorgung auf dem Platz ist eher mangelhaft, man muss teilweise recht weit bis zur nächsten Wasserstelle laufen. Einen "richtigen Strand" gibt es nicht, es geht durchs Schilf in den leicht abfallenden See.

Access to the campsite's own stand is via a path on the meadow. The bathing area itself is not so nice, but there are many good opportunities to get into the lake nearby. The direct connection to the very well-developed cycle path, which is partly on a former railroad line, is fantastic. Once around... the lake about 50 km, the lake is of very good water quality and nice and warm. Once a week a bakery van comes to the C. Platz with delicious cakes. At the entrance area there are freshly made pizzas and early baguettes and all sorts of things.

After standing in front of closed barriers at several other campsites, the operator let us onto the site after ringing the night (emergency) bell. It was a very nice site, with large grassy pitches. The sanitary facilities were basic but ok. The immediate proximity to the lake and probably also to the cycle path was nice. We haven't been able to test it out yet, but we might stop by again on the way back. "

Friendly reception. Level, unparceled pitches under trees. Electricity connection only possible with French plug. Access to the lake very narrow between reeds under trees. Sanitary facilities very basic but clean. No separation by gender. WLan is free in the reception area. Baguettes are available at the kiosk. With Acsi for 16 € in the low season.

We have been to many area's in France, but every year we must see the Lake Annecy and it's surroundings. And always we stay at Camping Le Solitaire du Lac in St. Jorioz because it is a lovely campsite. They also have mobile homes. The owners and their staff are very friendly and helpfull. When our children... were small it was ideal. No busy roads nearby, a quiet and clean campsite with a small playground on the campsite and a large grass field for older children between the campsite and the lake. The lake gets deeper slowly, so even younger children can play in the water. Children up till 16 years can have a great time at Le Solitaire du Lac. In the evenings they get together at a campfire near the lake have great fun without disturbing the other campers who wish to sleep. Near the village St. Jorioz there are small harbours. Supermarkets are nearby, but bread and drinks are also for sale at the reception. Often there is catering in the evenings. Annecy and its area are wonderfull for swimming, cycling, walking, climbing or parasailing. And walking through the town of Annecy itself is wonderfull. Come and see for yourself!!!

In de zomervakantie zwerven we 6 weken met de caravan rond, maar 1 week brengen we standaard hier door. Now that the children have been away for a long time, we spent the whole vacation on this child-friendly and quiet campsite: no steep paths along the campsite, a spacious terrain and water that is... not directly accessible. After the zomervakantie we stay here every meivakantie. Dan is het terrein grotendeels leeg De eigenaar is uitermate correct en vriendelijk en altijd tot helpen bereid. Supermarkten zijn er in de directe omgeving en 's ochtends haal je je je verse stokbrood, croissants en nederlandse krantje bij het winkeltje op de camping. This campsite is to be recommended for girls with young children and those who are just starting out, but not for girls with teenagers. De omgeving biedt volop mogelijkheden: fietsen, bergwandelen, stadsbezoek, parapenten, noem maar op. We vinden het gewoon het mooiste plekje van Frankrijk dat we tot nu toe hebben ontdekt...

El camping nos gustó mucho, las parcelas son grandes, los servicios muy limpios a pesar de que el camping estaba completo. Es un sitio muy tranquilo sin actividades ni ruidos. La recepción agradable.
