In heavy rain, many pitches are under water. Lots of dogs, up to 4 dogs. Dogs are probably more popular here than campers. There is a leash requirement, but this is not observed. After 14 years, we won't be coming here again.3 weeks at a dog parkThe campsite is generally good.
However, as mentioned, a lot of dogs.

To say it up front: we liked it overall. We can definitely recommend the site. The location with a view of the Fehmarnsund Bridge is great. Everything you can expect from a good campsite is on offer. Sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient. There is... a small store with a café. The pitches of different sizes all have water, waste water and electricity connections (some are further away, so a longer cable is required). WLAN reception was good on our pitch, but is subject to a charge (e.g. €15 per week for 2 devices). A sauna house can be rented for €30 for approx. 4 hours for sole use. Beach bar directly on the low sand dyke. Pizza machine (24/7), fish vending cart (2x per week), food truck burger (Saturdays), cheese truck (1x per week). Lots of dog owners! Restaurant was under renovation and therefore closed. The gravel paths bothered us, both when walking and cycling. The price-performance ratio is good. Friendly staff. Simply beautiful. The campsite was super clean, the staff were all very friendly. The beach, small but very nice. The view of the bridge from there was just great. Once a week there was a show at the beach... bar, very nice and the cocktails were a dream. Sanitary facilities very clean. Supermarket with a very wide range of products and the prices are perfectly acceptable. The toilet machine is also great and even free, something I've never experienced before. You should definitely go to Burg, I haven't seen such a cute little town for a long time.
My conclusion, a super nice and happy campsite where everything was just right. We will definitely be back, if only because of the bridge and the wonderful view.

The prices are also ok. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly.

The older ones were so enthusiastic that they want to go again next year.

We arrived after lunch on Whit Sunday, the site (and all the other campsites) was probably overcrowded on the long weekend, the convoy of motorhomes and caravans coming towards us caused a mega traffic jam on departure, and... it was a bit tricky for us to get through on the sometimes very narrow access road.
The reception staff were friendly despite what must have been a stressful weekend.
Pitch was ok for the price, sanitary facilities adequate and clean.
Beach invites you to go for a walk, nice little buffet (beach bar), view of the Fehmarn Bridge.
Unfortunately, many dogs and their droppings, some running free :-(
The restaurant on site is good, nice service, prices in the upper range.
Mostly noisy youngsters at the playground, not really quiet at night either.

Small private beach where you have to be careful not to stumble over the many dogs even in the off-season. We broke off our stay prematurely because the barking dogs were unbearable. Peace is different.

Although rest periods are indicated!Beautiful family-friendly campsiteIt was our first stay at this campsite. What we noticed very positively was that the hygiene measures were very well and consistently enforced. The sanitary facilities were also always in a very clean condition. Fantastic beach with a view of the Fehmarnsund Bridge. Beautiful sandy beach sections that... were never overcrowded, so that you could always keep the necessary distance. The restaurant on the campsite is definitely recommended. Here you can eat fresh Baltic fish or good steaks. Twice a week there was the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights at various snack carts and a wonderful little cocktail bar rounded off the offer. However, the constant through traffic to the slipway was a bit annoying, even during the specified rest periods (which were suspended on request due to the corona pandemic?). But that was only a minor flaw, which is why we didn't deduct any points. Also, there is always talk of loud dog barking and lots of dogs on the beach. Which we could not confirm during our stay. There is also an extra dog beach! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and we have already booked again for next year 2021. Hopefully without Corona!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

The site is beautifully situated by the water. The sanitary buildings were a good distance from our pitch and well maintained. They were cleaned regularly. The small kiosk had everything for short-term needs.
We didn't try out the catering. The staff were always friendly and helpful.... This also applies to our neighbors.
The campsite is a bit remote, but almost everything on the island is easy to reach by bike or car.

The deposit paid was to be retained in full, not just a processing fee as usual. When I disagreed with this, the owner advised me to contact my lawyer.
I have been to many campsites... in Europe, but I have never encountered such behavior.
In my opinion, the site is therefore not to be recommended. I ask myself how this person would react if I were there and made a complaint. Would I be expelled immediately just because I pointed out a problem?

sanitary facilities with every comfort.Αυτόματη μετάφραση. - Andreas M.August 2019ΘετικάDirect location on the Baltic Sea beach, very clean and modern sanitary facilities, well-kept campsite with lots of sunshine, friendly and cordial treatmentΑρνητικάYou should be able to make friends with the conditions of a natural beach.Arrive and feel goodNow that we've seen a few campsites on the Baltic Sea, we tried Miramir Campsite for a weekend break based on some recommendations. One phone call was all it took and there were still caravan pitches available despite the peak season. Reception is open until 20:00. Everything went quickly on site and... we were already on the pitch. Newly laid out and well-surfaced gravel paths, pitches clearly marked with stone slabs, otherwise fairly open and sunny apart from a few hedges and individual plantings. The whole site looks modern and in good condition. My son immediately got stuck on the beautiful and as-new playground. The sanitary facilities are as good as new and really very clean. The beach can be reached directly from the campsite via several passages through the dunes. There are indeed nicer beaches on the Baltic Sea, but that's complaining on a high level. On the other hand, the campsite has a beach bar that deserves its name and is second to none. On Saturday there was even live music from a tarpaulin trailer with candlelight and cocktails. That's as good as it gets. Animation is not really our thing, but here too we were pleasantly surprised. Unobtrusive, friendly and with great ideas, even we as animation grouches were taken along. In addition to the barbecue evening with music and drinks almost at cost price in a somewhat more remote part of the campsite, there was also the so-called "egg scrounging" on Saturday, where the entertainment team collects food with children on the campsite, which is then used by volunteers to conjure up a free buffet to which all holidaymakers are cordially invited. A great idea that I haven't seen anywhere else. Overall, we really enjoyed the very informal and warm atmosphere.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Called in the morning, the friendly guy at the reception was called - I think - Jens Lange, a real highlight, friendly in the thickest stress, who told us, 8 places free because of departure,... we went, found a place for the Womo.The place is well maintained and clean, beach and dog beach: even at High Noon you can find a quiet place.The restaurant "Globetrotter" on the campsite (I gave it a top rating on Google) is awesome.a self-service store that has everything the camper needs.fish roll trolley was ready every day.a super-sweet "beach bar".
