Sanitary building, WC's, many permanent campers. Cash payment is no longer up to date ... showers without bench or stool, sanitary building and toilets are getting on in years, in the toilet building left men right women was the chemical spout in the middle outside, and on the day of departure much was poured next to it and wet. That is not acceptable.
Small, quiet campsite on the Moselle
The nearest shops and ATMs are in Zell or Traben - Trabach. Bread rolls could be pre-ordered and were very tasty, as was the wine you could buy there. On arrival you get a barrier key and a key for the wash house. When you arrive at the pitch, the staff connect the electricity and note the meter reading.... I think that's good, so the electricity consumption is billed according to what you have used. On the day of departure I talked to the nice gentleman (site manager) about all the negative things. He said that everything is on a piece of paper and it should be changed and renewed. Otherwise it was quiet and as a base camp you could explore a lot from here...

Many permanent campers in a part of the site with the usual slum character. Lots of dogs.
Directly on the Moselle
Well maintained site. Large pitches. Stately trees for good shade. Unfortunately too many permanent campers in the northern part of the site. It would be nice if fellow campers were asked not to place their mobile homes at right angles to the view of the Moselle and vineyards. In the third or further... row, the romanticism of prefabricated buildings is created. Very large mobile homes should be moved to the back or banned altogether. Shopping facilities for everyday items far away: Zell or Traben-T. A slightly larger selection on site would therefore be good.
Very busy road within earshot disturbs because of the unfortunately
frequent "roaring bikers" (not entirely avoidable in a narrow river valley)

All that glitters is not gold
The operator is bad on some days and very bad-tempered on others. This is the worst kind of service provider behavior. We've been coming there for a few years now and avoid any contact with her. But it doesn't always work. Example: When paying this time, I was practically thrown out until the electricity... was read (took 3 minutes). Grumpy, bad-tempered, rude......
A restructuring of the hierarchy is sorely needed, because the rest of the family is super friendly.
We don't pay with counterfeit money.

Super location directly on the Moselle away from the traffic, great team, delicious small dishes (pizza and tarte flambée, also to take away) very clean if old sanitary facilities, but if the Moselle regularly floods everything well to understand. Bread roll service

Unfortunately there were no children, but that's not the site's fault. Exhaust air and cabins in the shower building take some getting used to. On the one hand, you can't actually take a shower without getting your clothes wet in the cubicle. (But that's complaining on a high level). The exhaust air is overloaded and mold forms on the ceiling.
Nice quiet place
We felt comfortable, the short one was a bit bored from time to time as there were no children. As mentioned above, a nice quiet and well-kept place. The staff/owners are always friendly and helpful, we can't complain and will definitely be back.

What a beautiful campsite!
The pitches are large and everything is very well maintained! The nearest town is a 25 minute walk away, but doable! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again :-)

* Unfortunately further away from larger towns like Reil and Pündrich * electricity is charged extra 0.55 €/kWh plus 1€ connection fee * very bad is the lack of sufficient ventilation in the shower and wash house with the result that there is black mold on the ceiling
Nice quiet place
A place for a quiet vacation, with the possibility to go on long hikes or bicycle tours.
Unfortunately, the equipment in the laundry building is not up to date - ventilation

This place has everything you need
I think the place is more than good.the sanitary facilities are very clean and have everything you need.there is nothing to complain about at all and it doesn't always have to be new,everything just has to work and that is the case here.the pitches are also top.everything is very tidy and clean.we will be happy to come back.I don't need a golden tap and no luxury pitches.this place is really good like this and keep it up.top.

Watch out for electricity rip-offs
You should be present at this campsite when the electricity meter is read and checked. 1.5 days = 11 KW for fridge and 2 x coffee making. We made the mistake of trusting the meter reader. Otherwise, washing up is only possible outside. Reception and sanitary facilities are getting on in years. It seems that nothing is done anymore because the campers come anyway because of the great location. Staff need getting used to and are unfriendly.

Criticism is always good if it is constructive and honest.
my documents and you arrived on 04.09 before 12 o'clock and left on
06.09 around 11am this is not 1.5 days but 2 days.
and to speak of a rip-off (our electricity meters were completely renewed 2 years ago)

A garbage can for dog owners and their bags at the garbage dump that is accessible 24 hours a day would be nice.
We felt very comfortable
So we felt very comfortable for the four days, of course there is room for improvement in the sanitary facilities but that still fits.we found the staff very nice and helpful there was nothing to complain about.all in all great gladly again

What a pity, really,
that a place in a great location gives such a bad overall picture. Advantages: Directly on the Moselle, spacious pitches and a really quiet location for the Moselle. There is very little traffic on the road opposite and you hardly notice the train. Lots of hiking opportunities. But that's about it. The... unkempt registration alone takes some getting used to. The overall appearance of the campsite in mid-October is such that you are still happy to take your money with you, but otherwise you don't do much else. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities can only be described as subterranean. Ancient, unkempt, unclean, dark and cold. A single neon tube covered in dust and cobwebs above all the showers barely illuminates the middle two. Apart from a tiny shelf for shampoo, no storage space at all. I had to put my things outside on the sink so that I didn't have to put them on the floor in the dirt. At the price charged here for the pitch, I find it outrageous to sell shower tokens for 1 euro for just 5 minutes in such sanitary facilities. You can only wash up outside with lukewarm water. As I said, it's a shame, because in my opinion the site has enormous potential given its location. However, we had the impression that no importance is attached to keeping the site in good condition overall, as people come here for the location anyway.

Pünderich. Campingplatz Moselland. 12-09-2018 - 15-09-2018. The arrival is not really wonderful, but the location compensates a lot. In a bend of the Moselle between vineyards, lies the elongated flat campsite with large pitches under walnut trees .After paying a deposit (€25,-) one receives a key for... the barrier. Electricity is nearby (16A)and water taps are also available. Unfortunately, there is also a busy road alongside, a railroad line and on the Mosel sometimes tour boats sail. Also the presence of an airport (Flughafen Hahn) makes it rather noisy. Sanitary buildings more than meet expectations although some minus points such as lack of privacy at the urinals. Also showering here is still with coins available at the counter. For a large campsite, the presence of one sanitary building is very little. To get to this building you have to walk a long way if you are at the end with your tent or caravan. Many campers therefore take the bike. Not suitable for wheelchair users. Children's games are available as well as tennis table. WIFI is free, but difficult to set and only at the desk to receive. Visited by Nl. GB CH S , Fr, D and DK. Garbage is separated and can only be delivered from 10-11 am. The village Pünderich seems in the brochure a beautiful medieval village,but that is somewhat disappointing. A few half-timbered houses can be seen. Furthermore, there is a ferry across the Moselle. . Then a visit to Cochem, Colmar or Bernkastel-Kues, beautiful towns , with beautiful views over the Moselle, is well worth it.

Solid campsite on the Moselle
As Moselsteig hikers, we spent one night there in our tent. The tent site is right by the water under a row of walnut trees, which protected the tent very well from the dew at night. The sanitary facilities are clean, but are now quite outdated. The staff were friendly and uncomplicated. The railroad... line with the rail bus on the opposite side of the Moselle disturbs the peace and quiet somewhat. A train runs there every hour and has to signal at an unrestricted level crossing. However, we didn't hear a train after 10am.

Well...
Beautifully situated pitch directly on the Moselle. Unfortunately very restless and noisy. Permanent campers and regular guests talk at megaphone volume across several pitches (the well-known Platzhirsch principle). At lunchtime I was also disturbed while reading by extremely loud flying quadrocopters. The friendliness of the operators was very limited and I find shower tokens (one euro) for a sanitary building in need of renovation overpriced.

Beautiful, quiet location directly on the Moselle. Good starting point for canoe/kayak and bicycle tours.

Somewhat antiquated. Furnishings clean but partly very old. Garbage can only be disposed of between 11 and 12. WLAN only near the reception.
Quiet place in a beautiful location
The location is wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful. Some of the facilities are a bit antiquated but clean. Most of the guests are permanent campers of retirement age. However, there are also plenty of pitches for transients and short-stay campers. The restaurant mentioned is a snack bar that is only open at weekends from 6pm to 8pm. Fortunately, there are several very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Good afternoon. We were here for 14 days. We had no luck with rest and relaxation. In two weeks the whole site was mowed several times with a ride-on mower. However, the grass was not removed, so that everything was carried into the camper van. In addition, the entire bank area was cut with a brush cutter... for days. It has to be done, but all at the same time! As described by other campers, the toilets are a bit older, some really in need of renovation, but always clean. Wi-Fi is only available in a tent opposite the reception and is very poor. The staff somehow don't enjoy what they do here. Friendliness should always be a priority when dealing with customers (campers). Unfortunately only partially available here. The site itself is beautifully situated directly on the river and the pitches are spacious. Depending on the location, you may need a 50 meter long power cable because the connections are far away from the pitch. We were completely happy with the price, but we didn't find any relaxation here!

Beautiful pitch directly on the Moselle
We stayed on the site for 7 days in July 2017 and had a so-called comfort pitch directly on the Moselle. You have a wonderful view of the river and enough space (large pitches of about 100m² and enough space to the neighbor. (long power cable may be necessary) The operator is helpful and helpful with... problems. The small store, where you can buy bread rolls and other groceries, is unfortunately quite smoky and not exactly inviting. The friendliness could also be improved - interest in the customer would be desirable. The snack bar on the pitch (open Wednesday - Sunday between 6 and 8 pm) is highly recommended. The sanitary facilities are cleaned well every day, but they are difficult to use in the dark as there are masses of spiders.

Charm of the 70s
Stayed at the campsite for a few days in August. The staff are friendly and helpful. But: The overall impression is rather unkempt. The sanitary facilities are clean but getting on in years. WLAN is only available at reception - free of charge. Since Vodafone only offers GRSM for cell phones, it's a... shame about the internet connection. The next village is about 2 km away. Pünderich is very nice. At the reception there is hardly any information about the area or activities. If you're just looking for peace and quiet for little money, this is the place for you. And another thing: the garbage station is open from 11-12. Who's on the pitch then? I took my garbage home with me.

The square is a lodge on the Moselle
We were on the pitch for 6 days. My pitch and many others are very large - about 100m². The sanitary facilities are old, but ok and clean. For 20EUR per day there is nothing wrong with the prices. I was disturbed that some things are unkempt or careless. The only water point on the left side that I could... discover was a better hydrant. The owner could do something about this and put some money into it. Wifi is only available at reception but is free. There is no longer a restaurant, but there is a snack cart from which delicious hamburgers come out 5 times a week from 18:00. Drinks and some food are available at reception, otherwise you have to stock up outside. We liked the fact that the cycle path leads right past the campsite and on through the vines. Really great. Dog owners also have the opportunity to walk their dogs. Negative at the end; garbage disposal only between 11:00 and 12:00h. Since the gate is otherwise locked, the garbage is deposited outside the gate outside this time. Not great at the entrance and the first impression. Oh yes - entrance - the barrier is always closed and pedestrians and cyclists have to slalom past the seats in front of the rezption. A cyclist had a bad fall there but was lucky that he didn't injure himself.
