Camping Municipal on the riverbank
Camping Tarteaux is an elongated site on the Sioule. The river has a small rapids at the campsite and is separated by a wooden fence. There are lots of pitches right on the riverbank. I had a wonderful view of the river from my tent. The pitches have very good grass for tent campers. The site has plenty... of trees and hedges to provide shade. The sanitary facilities are okay, not new, but very well maintained. There is a small bar bistro next to the camp with an excellent menu. The prices for overnight stays are extremely reasonable. I paid EUR 3.90 for one night with my tent and motorcycle. This place really is a little gem.
