- Rudi V.July 2024ΘετικάAffordable, peacefulΑρνητικάWe didn't have the best location. Strong sunTwo-day breakVery refreshing river, about 20 degrees. Normal prices. I recommend the river for families with small children.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Anja R.July 2022ΘετικάBeautiful campsite with restaurant and lots of shady spots. Swimming opportunities by the river Nice playground Friendly staff Sufficient sanitary facilitiesΑρνητικάThe only disadvantage is that Touristen☝🏼 does not manage to separate the garbage consistently, although glass, plastic and garbage containers are available. It was also pointed out that water should be used carefully...the water is left running in a jet when brushing teeth 😳...AnjaWe stayed at this campsite for 3 days this summer. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food/espresso 😋 in the restaurant is delicious.
The playground is opposite the restaurant and parents can eat there while the kids play around😉.
The whole place is lovingly designed, kiwis grow on the ceiling... in the restaurant and you can find a shady spot anywhere.
Nearby is the Nadzia River, where you can cool off (unfortunately there is less water at the moment, like everywhere else🙈).
At the weekend, locals sell honey, soaps and handicrafts in front of the restaurant.
Rafting, canoeing etc. are also on offer and the meeting point is in the grounds.
Unfortunately, our round trip through Slovenia was almost over, otherwise we would have stayed longer.
It was a great 3 Tage☺️Αυτόματη μετάφραση. - Alexander F.August 2019Θετικά- natural - quiet - child-friendlyΑρνητικά- Electricity quite expensive (but alternatives)Pearl on the NadižaWe stayed at the campsite for about two weeks in August and it completely matched our idea of camping. I.e. natural and a little "wilder" in the broadest sense. Campfires are also possible on the site. The campsite has a children's playground, a volleyball court, trampolines, etc. There is no supermarket,... but in the village (Podbela) you can walk to a restaurant that runs a mini or rather micro market. You can also get bread here. You can swim directly at the campsite in the Nadiža. There is a bathing area here. The campsite is also a great starting point for hikes, water sports (rafting/kayaking) and paragliding. The reception is happy to help. A larger supermarket is about 20 minutes' drive away in Kobarid. The CP restaurant offers delicious food on a clearly laid out menu. The prices are reasonable. The only downside is the relatively high price of €5 a day for electricity. To be fair, the campsite recommends alternatives to electricity on its website. There is a free cell phone charging station in the reception building and fridges are also available free of charge. Depending on the pitch, tent campers should be equipped with rock pegs. We will definitely be back!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- T. B.July 2019ΘετικάBeautifully situated, great bathing opportunity.ΑρνητικάEvening campfires. During the day, noise from sports and sometimes music from camper groups.Beautiful place in beautiful surroundingsWe were there for 8 days. The location is unspoilt, very quiet at night, during the day it's lively and a bit noisy because of the many sports facilities on the site: basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis etc. are constantly being played. Nice but cool bathing facilities, swimming is not really... possible. Nice little restaurant with a few but tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. There is no bread roll service, but there is a small store in the village (approx. 300-400m). Great places for camping, with motorhome + caravan partly small pitches. Car not on site. We were only really disturbed by the evening campfires, so that a cloud of smoke hung over the place. The last 3km approach for caravans a bit adventurous.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Raik R.July 2018Θετικά- Secluded location and therefore in the middle of nature - ideal for many activities but also for simply slowing down and relaxingΑρνητικά- noneWonderful place in a fantastic locationReally very nice campsite that many a campsite in Germany can take as an example in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. The location on the Nadiza is fantastic. We stayed here for a week in summer 2018 and fell in love with this country and its people. Highly recommended and we will be here again this summer.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- A. H.July 2018ΘετικάBeautiful natureΑρνητικάThe many campfires create a lot of smoke in the evening.Simply greatThis was our second time at the campsite. The atmosphere there is just great. Very relaxed. Great swimming opportunities. Lots of things for children to do (soccer, trampoline, table tennis). The restaurant is also recommended. Please note: no bread roll service.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Ekki E.July 2018Θετικάnatural, good location, good value, no frillsbeautiful, natural campsiteThe approach - at least with a caravan or camper van - takes some getting used to, but the site makes up for everything. Located directly on the small river, there is plenty of peace and space. There is a large, shady area for tents, where camper vans etc. are not permitted. They, in turn, can pitch... their tents by the river. Many people make a small fire right in front of the tent, which is great for children. In the restaurant on the site you can enjoy a good meal (menu quite clear), a delicious coffee or a pivo. A great starting point for all activities in the Soca Valley. There is a small store about 400m away for small purchases and bread in the morning.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- ELENA F.August 2017ΘετικάSurrounded by nature, casual atmosphere, suitable for children, possibility of sunbathing and swimming in the Natisone River.ΑρνητικάNo ATM or credit card payments, ATM 10 km away, no stores inside, pitches not well demarcated.Especially suitable for tentsThe campsite is nice although the pitches are not well defined. It is also unsuitable for campers and caravans because the last stretch of road, especially the one through the village, is quite uncomfortable for long vehicles. Passing through it with our 7-meter motorhome required some attention. There... were mostly tents, planted quite haphazardly, and small caravans. to keep in mind, however, that we were there during the mid-August holiday period (it was sold out!) and there was quite a lot of confusion. The campsite is frequented by very few Italians, most of the guests were Slovenians or Germans, almost all of them young and... "alternative". Many families with children were having fun in the nice playground (slides, swings, trampolines, ping pong, bowling...). The campground lies close to the Natisone River in which one can safely swim because the waters are shallow and not too cold like those of the Isonzo. Along the shore there is also a small area conventionally used for naturism (there are no signs marking the area). The bathrooms and showers are recent and very clean; at one point there was a shortage of hot water, but I was assured that this was an exceptional case due to the crowdedness of the period. The restaurant offers a fair selection of dishes, from starters to salads via excellent main courses, not forgetting desserts and draft beer, all of good quality and fairly reasonably priced. The only negative note: throughout the campsite you pay only in cash and the first ATM is just under 10 km away. Overall nice for staying there three/four days at most.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Dennis A.August 2017ΘετικάFantastic river, modern and clean sanitary facilities, lots of familiesFamily-friendly and secluded with riverReservations were no longer possible (August) - we were told to just drop by and were given a nice pitch (incl. electricity) near the river. The sanitary facilities are relatively new, clean and adequate. The river offers great opportunities to cool off. The playground, table tennis tables and trampolines offer plenty of activities for children. Quiet time is from 11 pm, until then there is a lot of activity.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Mike K.June 2017ΘετικάLocated directly on the beautiful Nadiza river. crystal clear water. River suitable for families with children.ΑρνητικάNarrow approach through the valley. Not suitable for the faint-hearted or motorhomes. Still possible with a VW van.beautiful campsite in a beautiful valley on the river NadizaThe Nadiza river is a wonderful place to swim and play. The water from the mountains is crystal clear. The river borders the campsite. You can cross to the other side on the suspension bridge. The sanitary facilities are always clean. The operator is very friendly and accommodating. My tip for adventurers: walk in and along the river to the Napoleon Bridge (Napoleon-Most).Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Stefanie K.July 2016ΘετικάLocation in the countryside on the beautiful blue Nadiza, family atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, everything cleanΑρνητικάThere is no store on site and no bread delivery service - but do you need it?dreamlikeWe stayed here for two weeks in July 2016 and it was fantastic. The staff and operators are absolutely uncomplicated, very nice and helpful. The site is beautifully laid out, no parceled out pitches. If you want, you can stand right by the river. There are enough trees for shade, but not too many to... enjoy the sun. The restaurant serves delicious food at fair prices. Right in front of it is a nice playground for children of all ages, plus benches under the trees. So you can enjoy your coffee or meal while keeping an eye on the children. In the small village of Podbela, about 5 minutes' walk away, there is a small store. There you can get everything you need for breakfast and more. There is a supermarket and ATMs in Kobarid about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. It was nice and warm during the day and cooled down at night, so you could sleep well. Campfires and barbecues with coal are no problem. You feel very much at one with nature, surrounded by fireflies and bats in the evening. During the day, you can swim in the river at the campsite or go on great hikes in the surrounding area. Interesting caves, waterfalls and gorges can be seen here. We can only recommend the campsite and will definitely be back! Many thanks to Evgen and his family! Hvala za super dopust.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Marcus S.July 2016ΘετικάPeace, nature, friendliness, great for children to swim, food nearby (pizzeria, bistro on site)ΑρνητικάNext larger town further awayGreat place with lots of peace and quietAs a family vacation, we enjoyed the peace and friendliness in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything is uncomplicated, the bistro is fine and the nature is great. Our boys were always busy.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Martin, B.August 2011This was our second time in Podbela and we are delighted with the location of the site, the beauty of the Nadiza and the uncomplicated naturalness of the site. The camp is simple, but is beautifully situated by the river, especially with small children it's great to have a swim in the Nadiza and make... a campfire right by the tent in the evening, which is definitely allowed. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, the atmosphere is uncomplicated and the campers there are more individuals than package tourists... The small store in Podbela has almost everything you need and is quite quaint. The camp has a very nice covered bar where you can sit, drink and play games for little money. There is internet and electricity for those who need it (take a long cable with you). There is table tennis, a trampoline and a large beach volleyball court. The drive down to the camp is quite steep, so I wouldn't recommend it for a camper van. Hiking up the river from the camp there is a beautiful old stone bridge, between the rocks you can look into the green water and if you dare you can dive from the rocks into the water! Breathtakingly idyllic and beautiful... and when the paragliders float down from the sky... What you should have with you is a folding spade: if it thundersnows, then you really need it and as the site slopes down to the Nadiza, you should be able to dig a trench around the tent if necessary. We were glad to have it with us. For campers with dogs: dogs are allowed!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
