The worst experience
The space is calm and peaceful but everything else is very bad, the staff welcome you as if you were at home, they forget that a park is a public place Poor service, most of the information is in English, in addition the arrogance, pedantry and chauvinism is very present in the way they welcome you and... how they act, they almost manage to recreate a prison camp in the middle of the 21st century.
An experience to forget.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE WORST OF ENEMIES

Thank you for informing our future customers that our park is very quiet indeed. That's because we demand respect for the quiet hour from 23:30. You forgot to mention that Mr. Sergio wanted to continue his drinking and noise party well after 1 a.m., disturbing the tranquility of all the customers of... our small campsite, which is why we intervened. Yes, this is our home where everyone is equally welcome, there are internal regulations in Portuguese at reception and no... you can't do whatever you want even if it's a public place.

Peace and scenery
A park for those who want peace and quiet. In our case, it was in a central location for the walks we had planned and at night it was absolutely quiet. It's a little out of the way, which is ideal for those who want to disconnect from everyday life, but if you don't want to travel many kilometers it's best to be prepared with supplies. The owner may not be very friendly at first, but he is very attentive and helpful, as is his wife.

Poor or almost non-existent mobile phone reception, making communication difficult The nearest town, 13 km away, has a few shops.

I liked the stay, the park is calm, the only thing I didn't like was having to leave until 12pm, the park wasn't crowded, I asked until what time I could stay and they said until 12pm, if not I had to pay 50% more, I entered at 7pm on Saturday and had to leave until 12pm on Sunday, I wasn't even in the... park for 24 hours, if it were any other kind of park, I'd understand the situation, but not there. As a rule, in other parks you can stay until 5pm. Apart from that little "incident", I liked it and it's a nice place. I recommend it to anyone who wants to rest for a few days in the middle of nature.

Familiar, good campsite in beautiful surroundings away from traffic and hustle and bustle
Beautifully landscaped site among olive trees. Somewhat secluded location above the largest European reservoir (500 m). The access road is not asphalted on the last section and is somewhat bumpy. The pitches for caravans/mobile homes are large, terraced and usually easy to access. Mostly with little... shade. Due to the layout, it may still be difficult to pitch an awning on some pitches. Part of the pitch is designed for travelers with tents. There is usually plenty of shade there. This area is laid out in narrow terraces. The sanitary facilities are rustic, functional and in good condition. The number of shower cubicles (3 each), washbasins and toilets (2|3 each) is perhaps a little short when the campsite is well occupied. The dishwashing facilities are in need of renewal. Wi-Fi is only available at reception and could be a bit more powerful. The host family takes great care of their guests. We received a very friendly welcome, had good advice and pleasant conversation partners. The weekly communal dinner (with reservation) should not be missed. There are no supplies within easy reach. Bread rolls are available to order. The requests were even taken directly at the pitch and the delivery was made directly to the pitch! The area around the campsite is very scenic. The reservoir contributes a lot to this. There are many places of interest in the surrounding area - villages, small towns, cultural monuments - and good wines. We had a really pleasant and good time on the site, which was only sparsely occupied during our stay.

Little shade to be found. Fine swimming pool. Private tour to the marble mines to arrange. Please coordinate in advance about costs. Facilities are good and clean. Price per night about € 25 including electricity.

Beautiful and clean surroundings, extremely quiet, good for resting, at night there were only owls and owls, excellent sanitary conditions, good swimming pool, with Internet, good service and the lights don't go out at midnight :-), or if not, to do any kind of shopping you have to travel at least 13km, I highly recommend it for those who want to rest.......

Good afternoon, this week I decided to visit the Alentejo with a group of friends, as we love our magnificent Portugal and wanted to explore it in more depth. One night, we came across the Rosário campsite near Alandroal and decided to stay overnight... it seemed like a really nice place to rest up before... another day of traveling. However, our stay turned out badly. As soon as we arrived, we came across a man who was rude to us and treated us with a lack of respect, just like everyone else. After dinner we decided to go and relax in a leisure area and play cards to unwind and pass the time, however this was not possible as the lights were turned off without any warning and I find it indecent that we were not informed that from midnight there would be no lighting in the park. We have the right to information, which we were not given. Another lack of information, which in my opinion is yet another way of making money by deceiving people, is the fact that the information on the campsite describes the price per person, per tent and per car, yet anyone who isn't interested in putting their car inside the campsite and paying the price is obliged to do so. And this is what happened to us, we didn't want to spend money that we didn't think would be worth it by putting the car in the park, but we were forced to, since there was no outside parking and also because the owner of the campsite made it impossible for us to do so by saying that we really had to pay the price of the car and that there was no other way to solve it. I leave here my testimony of a campsite that, contrary to expectations, left a lot to be desired!!! I appeal to all campers to try to find out as much as possible about the campsites where they want to spend the night, lest what happened to us happen.

Like anywhere in the world, lights go out at night on a public terrace ones the esteblishment closes its doors for the day. On a rural campsite like ours, that is at midnight. If that fact interupted your cardgame, we are sorry, but nothing witheld you... to continue your game in your tent. Your request to continue your cardgame inside the sanitary building (Illuminated throughout the night) was indeed denied. Sanitary buildings are not the place for social get togethers. Most certainly not after midnight on a campsite that is generaly quiet after 23.30 hours. That there is no further illumination at the campsite is just not true. Again at a rural campsite you can not expect 4 meter high lamp posts but even in the most remote corner of our campsite there are points of light for orientation at night. Leaving the car outside the campsites gates is, in our situation, no option because any given car would be blocking a country road and would create dangerous situations in case of emergency. We could just as well include the price for a car into the rest of our pricelist but that would not be fair to those coming here without a car or those traveling with a motorhome. All our prices are clearly visible before entering the park and therefore anyone staying with us is informed as to what the price per night is.
