Gerhard P.June 2024ΘετικάBarrier worked perfectly!ΑρνητικάUnfriendly staff - we were told that there was only one pitch left and that it cost around €76 plus €7.50 for poorly functioning wifi (2 days) despite having an ACSI card. There were 12 free pitches in our area alone. The pitch itself was almost impassable as it was totally muddy after rain. The taps in the sanitary area didn't work and the light wasn't even sufficient for shaving. There are several campsites in France on our trip in June 2024 with much better facilities and only 3 stars. The place is absolutely overpriced!Surprise at registrationI have already described this rating under the disadvantages. Staff try to sell comfort pitches (plus 10 euros). But they are just like the standard pitches. The pitch is extremely muddy after rain. Compared to the site there and the one after, this site was absolutely unacceptable in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The beautiful large swimming pool was completely overcrowded and therefore a constant source... of noise. The pizzeria, bar and restaurant made a very bad, dingy and overpriced impression. You had to be careful not to get stuck in the sanitary facilities, no matter what time of day. The camping store had everything you needed, far more than basic supplies, with freshly replenished supplies early in the morning, but totally bad-tempered, grumpy staff. It's no problem to get there by bike. You simply have to see the castle. The reception was very nice. Super swimming pool, shady pitches. Restaurant, tourist information, bike rental, self-service store, sauna and playground with bouncy... castle are on site. We really liked it there. However, the neighboring village has nothing to offer. Thanks to ACSI Card approx. 19.00 € with two people per nightΑυτόματη μετάφραση.

But.... Despite the quiet location, it is very noisy, as the (in our opinion mainly English) entertainers always tried (and succeeded) to outdo the groups of children they were looking after in terms of volume. A... sergeant in a military movie would have been envious... The sanitary facilities (at least in the two blocks near our pitch) are mostly open, so that the wind blows through quite well. Unfortunately, there was plenty of it on the day we arrived, combined with a brief drop in temperature. Showering was no longer a pleasure. One or two days later, this would not have bothered anyone because the temperatures had risen considerably (>30°). The combination of noise from the pitch in the evening and morning (it was very quiet at night), unreasonably high prices and inadequate sanitary facilities made us look for another pitch right after the first night.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Good place to stay overnight.The site is very large. Due to its location near the A10 highway, it is very suitable for overnight stays. We stayed there both on the outward journey to the south of France (1 night) and on the return journey (2 nights). The place seems to be popular with guests from England; the proportion of guests... from there during our short stays must have been 70-80% - accordingly, everything, including menus, is also labeled in English. The restaurant is quite good; however, the service was overwhelmed by the number of guests (perhaps the service was understaffed). While the restaurant was still open on our outward journey (end of August), it was already closed on our return journey (8/10/09/2014); at this time only the - also quite good - pizzeria was still open. In the high season there is likely to be a lot of hustle and bustle due to the strong family orientation; this is also indicated by the references to the entertainment. The pool area is very impressive with at least 4 pools and 3 slides. The campsite is located between two roads, but the traffic is hardly disturbing. During the day, the noise of the campsite predominates. Match de la coupe du monde retransmis ok, mais a peine la coupe ds les bras des joueurs on vous coupe la télé. Bref pour un prix exhorbitant on attend autre chose. Una encargada mayor, sin saber que hablábamos francés, nos insultó varias veces pues sin querer bloqueamos la entrada con la caravana. Para pasar poco tiempo no lo recomiendo pues es muy caro, pagas la gran piscina que tienen y la situación, muy cerca de Chambord. lo que tengo claro es que no volveré.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Pitches mainly in the forest and shady, with full occupancy and without reservation on unparceled meadow. 4 sanitary blocks, spacious cabins with shower and washbasin, twice daily cleaning. Small supermarket, restaurant, bar. Large... swimming pool area in the center of the campsite with 4 different pools and several water slides, access from 9 am to 9 pm. Large playground on the lawn. For an extra charge, bicycles, kettcars, tennis, wellness (sauna/whirlpool/massages) can be hired. Noise due to intensive use of the swimming pool and playground. The campsite/restaurant/bar is geared towards British holidaymakers (e.g. Premier League soccer broadcasts), during our stay approx. 75% families from the UK.
