We were immediately given tips for excursions. The site is mainly for motorhomes, but you can also come with a camper van and find a pitch that is big enough. The sanitary facilities are in a container, which takes some... getting used to, but were always clean. In my opinion, 2 showers and 3 toilets are probably not enough at full capacity and between 11-13 o'clock they clean and you can't use the sanitary facilities. It's easy to cycle to the Elbe (Elbe cycle path, Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Dresden etc.) from the site (it's a bit higher) - but then it's quite uphill back ;-)
The site will soon be extended/enlarged. I think that there will then also be an additional san building. We would book the site again at any time. It was very pleasant here.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

We were welcomed in a neat and friendly manner and hiking routes were also suggested to us. Bread roll service was great and playing with the dog on the adjacent meadows and paths was no problem.

We felt at home right from the start. We got great tips for hikes and highlights in the area. Bread roll service was also great. We were a bit skeptical about the toilet and shower containers before we arrived because we already knew them from other campsites,... but they were not comparable to other campsites either. The containers were clean at all times and everything you needed was always there.
We will gladly return to the site.
The only thing that is a little annoying is the fence around the site... It blocks the great view of the Königstein Fortress and the rest of the surrounding area a little, but since everything else is great, you can overlook it :-)Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Sven "Knausrich" B.July 2021ΘετικάEverythingΑρνητικάNoneTopI actually announced a negative review to the very friendly campsite operator, but only to have more chances of finding a free pitch here for a spontaneous visit, but we campers have to stick together and be fair to each other and to our hosts. So here are my consistently positive impressions of this... pitch. Starting with the efforts of the site operator to give us a pitch for the first night when we turned up spontaneously, and to allow us to stay another night the next day, this time with two motorhomes, to the very clean sanitary facilities, the bread roll service, the tips on leisure activities in the surrounding area in verbal and written form, to the available supply and disposal facilities, simply TOP. And it's affordable too. The view from the site towards Königstein, especially at night, is simply beautiful. The place also has some nice little secrets to discover. This place has earned a maximum star rating from me. You get detailed information on all excursions. If you come by bike, you should bear in mind that the campsite is on a hill and you have to climb it again after a day trip. Tiring... without an e-bike. The view of Königsstein etc. is free of charge. Showers cost 1.00 euro and you have 4 minutes, which is fine. Electricity is charged according to consumption, which I find completely ok. Fresh bread rolls are provided on site in the morning and you can find the essentials at reception. The pitch can also be used by caravans, even if the name suggests otherwise.
We chose this small pitch because we hoped there would be no children. Unfortunately this was not the case. Parents, possibly new campers, let their children run wild and don't know any rules. I just had to get rid of this.

For shopping you have to go about 4 km to Pirna, there Rewe, Aldi, Kaufland.Highly recommendedThe reception was very friendly, you are welcome! The operators are very helpful. They have worked out various hikes and bike tours and provide these in writing when you register. We did a few hikes and bike tours and were really impressed.
The fact that there is good WLAN throughout the campsite is... not a matter of course. The sanitary facilities were always spotlessly clean and the hygiene regulations were adhered to.
Great starting point for hikes in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
