A private pond invites you to swim, even if the water looks a bit brown. Tested and all good. Also very deep, small children don't need to go in there alone.
Beautiful unparceled pitches. Beware... of some people getting stuck in the rear area. The sanitary facilities are rather average. Electricity is available everywhere. Discharge etc. all at the front. Great playground for the kids and a volleyball court.
Toilets and showers are together and therefore somehow always wet and not so clean. But otherwise the place is worth a recommendation. Oh yes, there's also WiFi but you're better off using your own hotspot for streaming. There is also sometimes a burger store open on site.
Attention only cash payment!
Baltic Sea is opposite but hardly to be described as a beach but 3 km further north towards the capital and you are almost alone there.

The site is easy to reach on a through road.
That may sound loud, but it's not.
The operators are nice and friendly.
It is a fairly open site that is not divided into actual pitches. Only one fresh water point, not bad.
Two sanitary buildings. One with showers,... WC, kitchen, the other, newer one with showers only. There are no hooks or storage areas. That would be the only negative point about the site.
Swimming pond on site. Connection to the town and shopping facilities are available.
The beach is separated by the road. But there are good paths to bridge this.

It is located directly on a busy road, but is relatively quiet due to the forest. The operator is very friendly. There were hammocks attached to various trees, which were available for everyone... to use. There were also fire pits and barbecues for free use. The beach is about 300 m from the campsite but separated by the road, which is not a problem. The sanitary facilities were OK enough, but could do with repairs and basic cleaning. But otherwise ok.
The price-performance ratio was reasonable. For (smaller) children, the additional small lake on the site is a nice alternative to the Baltic Sea, which is unfortunately separated from the site by a very busy road. However,... the location of the site is very nice, within easy reach of the island's capital, good cycle paths and a past steeped in history (former military site nearby, World War memorial). The operator speaks German. Sanitary facilities and kitchen very well maintained and spacious. Cozy and lovingly designed outdoor and indoor lounge area, paved bike path in the immediate vicinity. Free choice of pitches under tall trees or on a large meadow. Family-run and lovingly designed, including the details. New main and sanitary building, each with 3 showers and 3 toilets. Everything makes a very well-kept and clean impression. Large communal... kitchen in the sanitary building. There is a washing machine and a sauna. Free WiFi in the reception area. The very nice owner speaks German and is very helpful. Pitch, electricity, 2 pers., V/E: € 19 - with discount € 18 Washing machine: € 4 To the beach on the Bay of Riga about 300 meters. The campground is located in a pine forest, on the territory there is a pond with fish, a pond for swimming, across the road is a bay. Along the road there is a path for biking and hiking. Roland S.July 2012A really nice place, friendly staff - good value for money. Kuressare easily accessible by bike. Shopping facilities in the village - making a fire allowed. Only drawback - unfortunately they forgot a drainage system. We got completely soaked after a night-time thunderstorm and heavy rain. The place is then a lake landscape - so take a close look at the terrain and look for slightly elevated places! A map, which you can also take with you, shows you all the possible sights on the island, which are well worth a visit.
