Very, very noisy campsite. Lots of hustle and bustle into the night. Shortly before 9 pm, the entertainment team is still running around the... entire campsite with jukeboxes to advertise the evening entertainment. Of course, this wakes up babies and small children. Plumbing is very clean like the rest.ΑρνητικάLots of noise every night until midnight from the beach bar and the "kids club". Sometimes we could not understand each other in front of the tent. The campsite is sometimes closed from 13:00 to 15:00 and then you may not go in or out. 95% are Germans ... apparently so in this region. You have to pay quite a bit for the beds on the beach and by the pool (€16).Beautiful campsite but the rest...Taking a family with 2 small children to Vela Blu Camping was different than we had hoped.
Pool and sea are super but the beach beds are quite expensive to rent. And at the pool there are just too few and they are often full.
I'm glad we booked a large camping place because the normal ones are much... too small for a caravan or folding trailer. But no matter big or small camping place you have no privacy.
The campsite is sometimes (you never know if they close it that day or not) closed from 13:00 to 15:00 then you are not allowed in or out with your car. So plan your trips and shopping well or you will be waiting or you can put it in a parking lot on the other side of the campground.
And then the noise! During the day it is wonderfully quiet but in the evening!!! If there is not a deafening bad artist in the beach bar then it is at the restaurant/kids club. And you can sometimes barely understand each other in front of the tent until midnight. Then it becomes a little quieter, because the mainly German visitors to the campsite and the cottages (95% are German and that is so throughout this area.) Then come back with their children from the party. And where our children really should be in bed between 21:00 and 22:00, our eastern neighbors apparently think otherwise. Until 1:00/1:30 it remains noisy with running and kicking children.
Toilet buildings are clean and especially the new one with separate children's facilities is super. They are all located between the cottages and not at the camping sites so you will always have to walk a bit.
And for us there is too little to do in the area. Of course you have Venice and Caorle (beautiful fishing village) is also worthwhile. But if you want to see more you will always be 1:30 to 2:00 hours in the car before you get anywhere. This is because you have to go down the very busy peninsula.

The entertainment team is just great. Pilates on the beach in the morning, soccer or volleyball, followed by aqua gym and various entertainment programs for the adults in the evening. Of course there is also something... for the little ones all day long. Crafts, swimming lessons and then the children's disco in the evening. There's probably not much for teenagers though. The campsite itself is quite clean. Everything is always tried to be kept clean. The sanitary facilities (where were in the new building) are cleaned several times a day. If it is not clean, it is due to a lack of hygiene on the part of the users. There are toilets with hand basins, shower cubicles with hand basins and normal washbasins without partitions. There is also a children's bathroom with toilets, showers and a baby bath. The fantastic pool area is the focal point of the site and is not far from either the pitches or the mobile homes. It is ideal for small children. Right next to it is a good restaurant with an ice cream parlor, which is run by very friendly staff. There is also a small supermarket and a room where you can wash, dry and iron laundry. The beach is only a few steps away from the pitches. So everything your heart desires is there. The evening program was only really loud on one evening. On this evening, a live band played by the pool and there was a pool party. But this also ended at 11 pm. The rest of the noise level was reasonable, although I have to agree with the previous speakers that the school classes coming in meant an increased volume. But it always depends on the school class. We experienced very loud, but also well-mannered ones. And you can't blame the operator for filling up his huts in the low season. The only drawback is that the pitches (especially in category B) are often quite small. They are still suitable for an average camper van, but with a camper van, awning and car it is often cramped, so that the car may even have to be parked in an extra parking space for a fee. All in all, a great place, especially for families with small children, with a super friendly and amicable entertainment team. However, depending on the number of visitors, it can be quite busy in places due to its small size. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Characterized by rental properties, the pitches on the beach can all be used directly by campers. This means that the distances to the clean beach, the great pool and the average restaurant are short. There is a good little pizzeria next to the campsite.... Shopping is easy by bike. The entertainment team is helpful and offers sufficient activities for small children. The dog was also happy as he was allowed to go for a walk and to go to the beach in the morning and evening. For 2 years now, more and more youth groups have been accepted, so the noise level has increased enormously. The volleyball courts are busy all day and at least 5 balls fly over the fence onto cars and caravans. In the... event of complaints, the site management takes a more strident tone and shoots them down with the comment: then you'll have to come in the high season. Have now been here for the second time and are delighted with the service. Will of course book again for 2019. Unfortunately there is not really much to see in the area. Venice is not really an option in... August. This means that there are only a few alternative things to do. We were there for 7 days - it shouldn't have been longer. The campsite is very loud, music from the entertainment and the beach bar, cleaning machines at 7:30 in the morning and lots of dogs that were constantly barking/whining. So far we've only been to large campsites like Marina di Venezia. When we booked relatively late in February, we were told straight away that the pitch was right next to the restaurant, pool and stage and that it could be a bit noisy here. That was... the case! I was very pleasantly surprised that we were made aware of this at the time of booking. We decided to go anyway even though we were looking for peace and quiet on vacation. We had a B-pitch which was big enough (our Wowa is 7.45m), the awning with a depth of 3m fit well on it, the car as well and you still had enough space and privacy to the neighbors. The whole site is very clean, beautifully landscaped, the staff extremely friendly (...as one calls into the forest...) and the fantastic entertainment team deserves special mention. And the fact that I'm saying this means something - I'm not really into "animation". An all-round hard-working team of 12 young people who were never intrusive but were always on hand in a good mood and looked after us. Our children (9 and 14 years old) were thrilled and not to be seen all day. I would like to point out here that I think older children are also in good hands at this campsite. After just a few days, our son got together with lots of other holidaymakers' children of the same age and had a great time. We sat together with the entertainment team until late in the evening and had fun. We also went to the beach bar, where there was action twice a week. For us as parents, the small size of the entire campsite was very "reassuring". We knew we didn't have to worry about the children. This has not been the case for us as parents on the large campsites. In my opinion, the prices at Vela Blu are completely ok. -Not exorbitant. Delicious food in the restaurant. It was possible to have a pizza for 6 euros in between. The small supermarket was a bit more expensive but you got the "essentials". There are plenty of large supermarkets nearby for bulk purchases. The only small minus point was the cleaning of the sanitary facilities. These could have been visited more often by the cleaning staff. It was high season. However, we gave this information to reception and it was gratefully accepted. Conclusion for us; a very well-kept, beautifully laid out and with short distances to the pool and the beach, convincing campsite. Despite the higher noise level (due to our pitch), we felt completely at ease. For 2017 we have made a reservation further back, because you don't get much of the stage show there.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
