There are beautiful and less beautiful pitches. We got a very nice pitch with a sea view even in the high season without a reservation. What more could you want?
The facilities are perfect. There's nothing to complain about. This costs the same as the one at the front by the sea. There is no access to the sea, you have to go through a pitch in the 1st row - very unpleasant.
The wash house is very small, 2 toilets, 2 wash basins and 2 showers, all very small. The toilet... door opens inwards, so you have to stand between the wall and the toilet.
It is only possible to empty the Chem toilet on the main square, which is about 250 m away.
The main building on the square was rebuilt, so the supermarket was reduced to 4 m² (!), there was no fruit and vegetables. Shopping only possible in M.Losinj, approx. 4 km away.
The all-inclusive price here, whether in front of the sea or at the back, is approx. 100.- per day, but the return was very low.
The main road to Mali Losinj runs directly behind the campsite, so the noise pollution is not insignificant. However, the premium pitches at the top are completely overpriced! They wanted 80 EUR per night (2 people, 1 VW bus) .... At check-in we were told to choose a pitch and then let them know where we put the camper... (we were only told afterwards that the upper pitches cost twice as much (!) :-(. Quiet place. Large plot. Clean sanitary facilities. We have a dog and could only go swimming with him outside the campsite. He was not tolerated in the bathing bay. We were unable to book a specific pitch in advance. The plots in area A are larger than average. Attractive planting with lots of oleander separates the plots. Some of the paths to the sanitary facilities... are quite long. The sanitary facilities are new, well equipped by Croatian standards and very clean. The campsite makes a clean and well-kept impression. Due to the terraced layout, many pitches have a beautiful view over the campsite and/or the sea. The bathing bay consists of an approx. 20 m wide concrete basin filled with fine gravel. This area and the adjacent beach volleyball court and sunbathing lawn are unfortunately not very clean. Small pieces of plastic and bits of garbage spoil the otherwise well-kept impression. The campsite has a jetty plus buoys on the road and access side. Boats can be slipped or craned for a fee. The jetty has a fresh water connection and is supervised and guarded by a friendly harbour master. There is a useful, well-stocked store on the site. We did not visit the bar and risto. The staff are exceptionally friendly. At this point, a personal comment that belongs more in a chat: Why don't campers greet each other anymore? Everyone pretends to be alone and ignores their fellow campers ... What a shame! I pointed out the length of the caravan... when making the reservation and we had to switch to a more expensive pitch. Baiaholiday found this quite normal and was not prepared to compromise. We were able to choose between several beautiful, large and well-located pitches. In our opinion, the campsite is beautifully situated and laid out: Views of... the sea to the left and right, beautiful bathing bay (without shade), pine forest provides shade for the majority of the pitches, large and beautiful pitches, small supermarket available, close to Mali Losinj, very friendly staff, beautiful and very clean sanitary facilities. We have less positive things to say about the restaurant - we found the food poor, which meant that we didn't even go there for a snack or a pizza and drove to Mali Losinj every time. Wi-Fi was expensive for 1 week at 200Kn and extremely slow, so we complained about it. Little evening entertainment, sometimes narrow access to the pitchesDream location and super friendlyThe complex is divided into two parts as the main road to Mali Losinj virtually runs through it. The pitches on the lower side of the road are therefore also exposed to the noise of the road and in my opinion not recommended. The actual campsite is located around a small bay with rocks and a small pebble... beach ideal for small children. However, the sea drops off very quickly so caution is advised. Most of the pitches are large enough for larger caravans or mobile homes, although the access roads are very narrow in some places. Well-kept oleander hedges give the whole place a garden-like feel. The welcome at reception was exceptionally friendly. And! A member of staff accompanied us to the pitch and asked if it was OK, otherwise we could look for another one. We were also shown all the facilities on the site. Very remarkable. The small supermarket offers everything for daily life. The restaurant still has room for improvement but is okay. The small beach bar with a view of the entire bay is great. Alongside so many positives, there are unfortunately also a few points of criticism. The sanitary facilities are well equipped, but unfortunately the necessary cleanliness is lacking. We also brought this up on departure, for which the reception promptly apologized and promised to improve. The cab boat service to the town is very inconvenient, you have to book the trip in advance and you have to specify the travel times. This is better and easier elsewhere. Unfortunately, there's no tourist train service for families with small children. After all, it is a good 4 km to the center of Mali Losinj. Incomprehensibly, a newly built illuminated cycle path ends 300m before the campsite in a sharp bend. Absolutely dangerous. Overall, Poljana is quite quiet. Some evening entertainment for adults would have been desirable for us. However, there is a lot on offer for children and teenagers. The children's entertainment team has an extensive program. The only thing that has changed is that there are new pitches above the wash house, which are very good in terms of location and size, but sometimes difficult to access with larger vehicles. Depending on the pitch, however, you can enjoy an unrestricted view over... the entire bay as far as PAG and in the other direction you have a fantastic sunset every evening!!! Otherwise a lot needs to be done here! A pool area is unfortunately not planned for the future. It is also annoying that with the high prices, even the soccer pitch is now subject to a charge. W-LAN, sunbeds, everything only for an extra charge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is rather mediocre compared to others in Mali Losinji. I can recommend the pizzas. It would be desirable if there was more on offer for children and teenagers. A bouncy castle in the water etc. should probably be possible. Cycle path - Mali L. - Sanitary unclean - Buoy- W-Lan expensive - Soccer pitch costsBy boat on Mali Losinj Camp Poljana(Paradise Place)We 2 adults and 2 children 15+12 years spent our summer vacation on the so-called paradise places, which are separated from the campsite by the only connecting road to Mali Losinj, (unfortunately this is neither visible on the map nor mentioned in any way). The location of the paradise pitches is very... nice, unfortunately some pitches are exposed to this noise due to the extremely loud car, bus and truck traffic from early to late (sleeping like at a highway service area). Fortunately we were able to take our dinghy out to the beautiful bays. Great for vacationers with a boat! Each bay is different from stone, rock to sandy beaches, there is everything. Buoy (without jetty) outrageously expensive at 22 euros per day - if you take the boat out every day the rude harbor master demands 6 euros to take the chain away.sanitary facilities in the area of the paradise places with containers repulsive and shower trays with mold (2 toilets and 2 showers per container) emptying chemistry toilet only possible at the main campsite via the busy main road, on foot about 10 minutes! As my son loves to play soccer with others, we found it particularly annoying that both soccer pitches are locked and chargeable. Trampoline was free as it was badly damaged. Unfortunately there was no information/instruction boards on the paradise pitches about what was going on at the campsite. W- Lan 14 days one device 40 € no longer up to date. Cycle path to Mali Losinj starts only about 300 m (unlit) after the main road (very dangerous) and ends just before the town. With the boat and the many beautiful bays it was a very nice vacation.
