The town is very close and it is very nice!
The sea is very clean and the beach is beautiful !
I recommend you very much! We had a plot very close to the sea and it was perfect !Αυτόματη μετάφραση. - Hannes F.September 2022Θετικάthe pretty Dane at reception and the howling of the coyotes. Close to the ferry. Lots of large mobile homes with no contact with neighbors. We were able to dream the last days of Bosnia Herzegovina 🇧🇦 in peace.Αρνητικάwould take a little longer and wonder what a campsite in southern Styria would cost. 👍live report from the campsiteIn a nutshell, we've been here 4 times in the last 10 years and dream of times gone by. People who have been on the road for a long time always stay calm. Other times will come again. Or switch to other Balkan states.
Good nightΑυτόματη μετάφραση. - Don A.October 2021ΘετικάVery nice location and beautiful pitches under olivesΑρνητικάOld sanitary facilities, very basic facilities, no food supply, completely overpriced.Far too expensiveVery simple place without much frills. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years. No food supply on site. Everything would be in order if the operator hadn't increased the prices extremely since 2021. 30 € in October for 2 people with a small tent and car without electricity. Completely excessive for what is on offer here. What a shame!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Karl-Heinz H.September 2021ΘετικάThe location and the peace and quiet. The beach is also suitable for children. The familiar relationship between the campersΑρνητικάNothing has changed, only the price has gone upValuation 2021The bay and the beach are fantastic. But a four-star place is greatly exaggerated. The owners only collect money but invest nothing. The price is now €39 for 2 people and a parking space for a caravan with a car. This was our 3rd time on the site. The showers stink from the drains as they did years... ago. Manure has been seeping out of the wall of the sanitary building next to the entrance for men for years. Hot water is only available occasionally. In the evenings you have to shower with cold water. The electricity boxes are only partially usable. So you should have a 50 meter cable with you. There were short circuits when it rained. Since Ulli no longer looks after the place, her husband is also missing as a craftsman. The cleanliness now also leaves a lot to be desired. Dog and jackal droppings are no longer removed from the beach and the campsite. The young women who now look after the site speak excellent English but no German. They have not yet got to grips with the allocation of pitches either. So some were parked in the back. Communication is no longer as good as it was in Ulli's day. The communal barbecue no longer exists either. Only beer is still served, but the price has risen. The advantage is the fantastic location, the beach and people know each other. I don't really care if there is a wooden door in front of the toilet and only a curtain in front of the shower. The environment has to be right and the price-performance ratio and that is no longer the case. K-H HolzapfelΑυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Stephan K.August 2019ΘετικάLocation, very nice and helpful serviceΑρνητικάnone foundSunbathing under palm treesWe were at the campsite for the first time this year, we had a very nice time at Camp Vrila. Very nice beach with palm trees and sea view, adventurous were the coyote "songs" every evening :)Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Paul H.June 2018ΘετικάQuiet and fantastically beautiful locationCamp Vrila in Trpjani on Peljesac ***like in the Caribbean***This campsite is beautifully situated in a bay, the well-kept beach is lined with palm trees and the campsite itself is superb. The sanitary facilities are simple but always clean, and the small reception with bar and weekly communal barbecue is always an inviting place for a sociable chat. If you're... lucky enough to be in the front row right on the beach, you'll feel like you're in the Caribbean - the only thing missing is the sand. A place to feel good and relax, absolutely recommendable.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Fabian und Anja S.May 2018ΘετικάDirectly on the beach, good for children because the bay is shallow. Quick access to the ferry and the town.ΑρνητικάWOMO disposal station difficult to reach. It would be nice if you could set one up at the entrance.Quaint place, top location in the bay with palm trees.Came here for a stopover. The German operator was very thorough when we registered and showed us around. As the site was already quite full, it was a little more difficult to find a corner. I seriously underestimated the dimensions of my jumper. But with some maneuvering and slaloming between the trees,... I managed to get onto the pitch. The upper pitches are more suitable for T3s or cars with tents. Bathrooms and toilets basic but clean. Reported a blocked drain and the crew took care of it. You can tell the operator likes to tinker. Various found objects from the farm hang in the bathhouse as decoration, and an LED spotlight has been stapled to the broken neon tube. A style far from perfection, just quaint and nice, like the owner. Then, of course, there's the beach, a shallow bay where we were even able to briefly spot two dolphins. The clear water is perfect for snorkeling. In the evening, the 4000 jackals living on the island suddenly start howling. Pure goose bumps. The village can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. There are several restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, an ATM and a butcher's shop and an office of the Jadrolina ferry line for buying tickets. The ferry runs about 6 times between the mainland and the peninsula. Small drawback. The disposal station for motorhomes is at the top end of the site. The steep driveway on gravel was a challenge for the Jumper. You can't get to the gully to drain water because of the surrounding trees. It would be better to set up a place for this at the main building. What is not, can still be. Based on the previous reviews, you can see that the site still has potential for improvement, but you can tell it's on its way.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Peter P.September 2017Θετικάnone worth mentioning, but the location would be very niceΑρνητικάGenerally sloppy place, sanitary facilities totally outdated and also not very cleannot recommendedWe were only one night at the campsite (11.9.17), very expensive despite the off-season and no comfort (one night with caravan and car € 32, -), pitches are also difficult to reach with caravansΑυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Norbert L.September 2017ΘετικάThe location of the campsite directly on the waterΑρνητικάNo direct disposal for gray water.Fantastically beautiful place right on the waterThe location of this campsite couldn't be better. The shallow pebble beach is ideal for swimming. Numerous pitches are laid out on natural ground under shady trees. Some pitches have a direct view of the sea. There are shops in the next village. The sanitary facilities are very old. But technically everything... works perfectly. And contrary to other reviews, I have nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. The only disadvantage of the site is the disposal of the chemical toilets. You have to go quite far into a corner of the site to do this. The gray water is also disposed of there. But not directly from the car. You need a suitable transport container for this. Otherwise, the site has everything a camper needs to relax.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Anette S.September 2016Θετικάcrystal clear water, fantastic location, great uncomplicated staffΑρνητικάSimple and rustic sanitary facilities.Pure relaxationA small paradise, if you are looking for relaxation and tranquillity, this is the place for you, on weekends there are lots of people on the beach (as it is a public beach), but not disturbing. The nightly calls of the jackals are a great experience. The village is not far away and can be reached quickly by bike. Thanks to Ulli (unfortunately we didn't get to meet Toni) for the wonderful days with you. We will be back!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Katrin S.September 2016Θετικάfriendly staff quiet place (low season) the jackalsΑρνητικάSanitary facilities are in urgent need of renovation and/or prices need to be correctedUlli and Toni are a great teamA beautiful, quiet place with super nice staff who make a lot of effort in terms of cleanliness and common evenings with barbecues. The owner of the complex is urgently advised to adapt the sanitary facilities to the prices - urgent need for renovation, also in the complex something would have to be... tidied up, eg the wooden stall at the entrance and the garbage dump, super experience are the jackals nearby, if the price-performance ratio is better, we would definitely like to go back.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- fair d.August 2016ΘετικάPalmsΑρνητικάDusty road, public beach, cold shower water, garbage dump next to the campsite.Palm trees and a beautiful starry sky on clear nightsThe palm trees provide shade, public beach, constantly cars and trucks, therefore dusty and noisy. ONLY 3 showers, water always cold!!! Jackals howl in the night.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Olav D.July 2016ΘετικάFantastic locationΑρνητικάSanitary facilitiesFantastic locationVery nice location on the palm beach, friendly staff throughout, all pitches just a few steps from the beach. Crystal-clear water, great snorkeling spots, fantastic hiking/cycling trail along the high shore to the village. Drinking water near almost all pitches. Electricity directly at the pitch with... 16A fuse. Solid ground and grass, suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Partly shady (large palm trees and other trees), partly sunny. Laid out in terraces. The narrow driveway from the bottom to the first terrace is a problem with longer caravans. We set down here with our 560kmfe, 7.30m long. The idyllically situated old sanitary building, built of natural stone, unfortunately does not match the price level of this site at all. The washing-up facilities are okay. All shopping facilities in Trpanj can be reached by bike in 5 to 10 minutes. A real highlight are the howling jackals that we could hear every evening. Arrival/departure: It makes sense to take the ferry from Trpanj to Ploce - or vice versa. From both directions, you save yourself the two border crossings from BiH. The ferry does not need to be booked in advance, but can be paid for on the spot at the port.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Claudia S.May 2016Θετικάright by the sea, family-friendly, dog-friendly, pure nature, clean and beautifulInsider tip, found by chance and stayed....We were looking for a campsite on our trip to Croatia and came across this one by chance. We were fascinated by the huge palm trees on the beach, the light blue and crystal clear sea with the campsite right next to it. The campsite operator approached us in a very friendly manner and greeted us. We and... our dog spent some wonderful days there with a spontaneous barbecue organized, showers and toilets very clean, great decoration ideas give the bathhouse a special ambience. Unique beach path directly to the small town with incredibly beautiful viewpoints with a view of the sea and the dolphins. Possible on foot or by bike. The jackals you can hear here are simply amazing....Pure nature! Thank you dear Uli, we will be back....Markus and Claudia with Bobtail Nala from SwitzerlandΑυτόματη μετάφραση.
