Otherwise beautiful and only 150m from Werdenbergersee. Hotel / Rest. "Taucher" right next door (recommended). By the way: Buchs is in the canton of St.Gallen, not Appenzell ...Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
Martin G.June 2013This campsite is located in the middle of a residential area. (incl. church!!!) As the residential buildings are directly adjacent to the site on one side, you feel like you're on display. The pitch itself looks well maintained and has a nice grass surface. The sanitary facilities were also clean, but unfortunately the capacity was far too small. (one men's shower) This campsite is a good base for a bike tour.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.- Heinz B.September 2012

It is run by an elderly couple who take great care of their guests and it is a special place because almost everyone knows everyone here, and in summer it is populated by a few permanent residents who characterize the life of the place - but without a "pecking order", as... is sometimes the case in Germany. The sanitary facilities are clean, but there are not enough of them! 1 men's shower, 2 toilets, 2 showers for ladies - not enough. The peace and quiet is disturbed by a church that makes itself heard every 15 minutes. Even at night! Around 6 o'clock in the morning you are rudely awakened by a long and loud ringing. This has driven many people away. If you don't mind this noise and don't mind the few showers and toilets, you're in good hands here; the site is well located for everything, the positive thing is the personal touch, you soon become part of the "camping community".Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
