We were not disappointed again, nice guests, great staff, great food and great service at the Italian restaurant!!!!
But the most important thing comes at the end: a huge thank you to... our night watchman Ronald!!! It's impossible to imagine the campsite without him, we were delighted every evening when he did his evening rounds and always had a kind word for us, we really took Ronald to our hearts and of course his Sabine too!!!!

This was our third time here and we are very satisfied.ΑρνητικάI don't think it's okay that a leash is compulsory, but not for permanent campers, where the dog has defecated on the lawn, was not removed by the owner. Then there is unfortunately a permanent camper who took photos of two children because the children were riding their bikes.Very nice vacation, unfortunately the weather did not play alongThe camping park is very nice and you can enjoy the peace and quiet during the week, at the weekend it gets fuller, but that's ok.

Very expensive place (parking space, WLAN and electricity) WLAN much too expensive and bandwidth many too low (daily price 7 € / device) Cycling almost impossible (hardly any cycle paths that are passable)Expectations unfortunately not fulfilled - but not totally disappointingThe CP Buntspecht is located in the "Havelland wilderness" on Lake Ferchensar. Accordingly, the arrival is quite adventurous through the adjacent forest and over paths made passable with "armored plates". An encounter with departing campers requires a swerve onto the forest floor or at the established... alternative bays.
Registration was very friendly and quick.
Negative / room for improvement:
- Much too narrow passage at the barriers
- Much too narrow paths in the rear area (with full occupancy without mover not to get off the pitch because of bricked supply points)
- "Main road" much too narrow - oncoming pedestrians / cyclists have to dodge into the hedges when arriving and departing.
- Depending on the pitch, pine cones constantly fall from a height of approx. 20m onto the caravan and caravan
- Dogs are tolerated to be walked directly on the pitch and even made a pile 3m away from the awning or peed on although there is a meadow for walking (but nobody uses it)
- Cycling hardly possible, separate cycle paths not available or in poor condition
- Invading hordes (unfortunately you have to say that) at the weekend from nearby Berlin and the surrounding area to "party" for 3 days (posers and show-off campers)
- Mixture of tents and caravans at the weekend
- There is no sanitary building on the pitch area facing the upper lake
- Overpriced prices for pitches, electricity and WLAN
Positive:
+ Very nice and always helpful team
+ Absolutely clean sanitary facilities
+ Delicious bread rolls
+ Italian restaurant on site (but quite expensive)
Conclusion:

The bathing area is clean with shady trees and there is even a small snack bar. There is also a small petting zoo and a good Italian restaurant on site. The sanitary buildings are both very tidy and modern. We like the site because of its great location, it's not too big, you can go for a nice walk in the evening and there's even a dance night every now and then. The store and the fresh bread rolls in the morning are also great. The pitches are parceled out, big enough, the car stays at the caravan. Electricity, fresh water and waste water directly at the site. Short walk to the lake with beautiful sunbathing lawn, past the petting zoo. You can hire pedal boats or motorboats.... A hiking trail leads around the lake and is signposted. The sanitary facilities were very clean. We also liked the store. The restaurant is also recommended. The friendliness of the campsite staff deserves special mention. This was the best short vacation we've had in years.
We ate well and inexpensively at Don Carlo, enjoyed 3 Thai massages, played boccia, swam every day, went boating and had beautiful weather.
There is a small but well-stocked supermarket with fresh bread rolls and baked goods every day. -- And friendly staff to boot.

Basti our dog was twice in the dog shower with hair dryer - we had not seen anywhere else, just like the dog bathing area with separate sunbathing lawn and relex loungers for mistress and master
Those who love nature are in good hands here, the camping park is home to a colorful world of birds (including the great spotted woodpecker) that wake you up with their colorful twittering. - Simply wonderful -

The... Italian restaurant, Donn Carlo, is highly recommended, we had a great meal and will be back for 10 days in the golden fall.
