- Martin S.May 2021ΘετικάQuiet, play area for childrenΑρνητικάnothingQuiet campsiteThe campsite is very quiet. Due to the corona pandemic, the sanitary buildings were closed (therefore no rating). There are lots of play facilities for children (artificial stream, football, basketball hoop, ...). Small store at the campsite.
The village is a 20-minute walk away. Here you will find a bakery with a small grocery section and a health food store. The restaurants were closed due to the pandemic, but there are plenty of them.Αυτόματη μετάφραση. - Florian M.May 2020ΘετικάLake playgrounds modern sanitary building beautifully landscaped pitchesΑρνητικάCleanliness in the sanitary buildings Mud playground has been dry for some time due to many permanent campers some places very unkemptGreat for a long weekendWe were there over Whitsun.
A very nice campsite in itself.
Very nice little lake, lots of play opportunities for children.
Unfortunately no bread roll service etc. due to Corona.
The operators look after the site very well, but it was cleaned at most once a day over the Whitsun weekend, definitely not enough with high occupancy at Corona times.
I really like the round layout of the pitches.Αυτόματη μετάφραση. - sascha T.July 2019ΘετικάVery child-friendlyΑρνητικάnoneHammer systemFor families with children in the summer vacation better than any family camping in the Black Forest. We had a week in the Black Forest and a week here and our kids were absolutely thrilled with the entertainment here. Animation with heart and passion. Simply amazing In the Black Forest we paid three times as much for worse animation.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Jan S.July 2019ΘετικάQuiet PlaygroundΑρνητικάHuge lake next to (!) playground (watch out for small children) Reception rarely manned Not daily bread rolls 1x washing + dryer 17,50€Not a nice owner / Everything is controlled hereThe location of the campsite is very good. The site is very old except for a new sanitary building and reception. The campsite is huge and has a lot of potential. But if that doesn't come now: the owner talks about customers instead of guests. And you can clearly see that. Reception only manned sporadically.... So you always have to make do with a bell which sets up a radio connection. A family of 4 arrived who wanted to do a wash as soon as they arrived. There was no key, because the end of the washing time is soon after the operator's closing time. Here they are charged 9 cents per minute. I have never experienced anything so strange. We paid a whopping 18 euros for 1 wash + dryer. Even the soap dispensers say "please don't press hard". Everything is dictated and prescribed there. No trace of an unforced stay. Swimming pool closes early. Reception not manned again. Bread rolls only from 9 am. Nobody there at 9 am. Then you have to ask again via the strange bell. Overall rather expensive campsite. No water / waste water on the pitches. WLAN which is included, without function. Access to the children's shower only by arrangement. Key must be collected and brought to reception. For max. 2 hours at head height of the changing mat a socket without child protection. Bread rolls would only be ordered once. Dark and hard. Oh yes, no bread rolls on Wednesdays because it's a rest day. What an operator concept... Another guest tried to talk to the owner. Result: he was friendly and arrogant. He doesn't let his customers talk him out of his concept. Even a permanent camper said: There's never anyone here when you need or want something. Conclusion: pitches with electricity only and nobody else around. What a shame, the site had so much potential. But if you don't want to be a host and only want to accommodate guests with signs and instructions and at full price. You simply don't feel welcome and comfortable here.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

- Andreas W.April 2017ΘετικάIf the children are happy, so are the parents! Everything has been done for the children.Αρνητικά- none-We were satisfied.Nice welcome, quiet large campsite and top service. Our two children (4 and 9) were SUPER happy. We only saw them all week to eat and sleep. We will definitely be back! Greetings to the TEAM.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Big J.June 2016Θετικάthe new wash house, extremely friendly serviceΑρνητικάlarge site with partly unkempt permanent camper pitches, very aggressive mosquitoes, the standard rate is too expensiveSo many orbitsWe stayed at the "Reinsfeld" campsite from 03.06.2016 to 05.06.2016 with 2 adults and a camper van with awning. We paid €17.00 including showers to rent a pitch with the ACSIcard. The contact in advance by phone was very friendly. We were able to arrive spontaneously on Friday evening even after the... reception closed. We were able to check in the next morning. The campsite is easy to reach from the highway and well signposted. The highlight of the campsite is that it is divided into several traffic circles. We think it's a good idea that a one-way street functions as the main traffic artery. With 300 permanent seats and 550 tourist seats, the square is one of the largest we have visited so far. We found the spatial layout very successful and were able to park right next to the newest wash house on traffic circle 26. Electricity is available both at the edge and in the center of the square, water was probably only available at the wash houses. The new wash house is of course a highlight, but unfortunately there is no sink for the chemical toilet. The old wash houses may look very old, but they are very well maintained inside. Nevertheless, you should make sure you are close to the new house. If you want, you can rent a mobile home, which also looked very inviting from the outside. Two rustic table tennis tables are available alongside basketball, a volleyball court and soccer goals. A large climbing playground and a water playground round off the leisure facilities. We were unable to try out the outdoor pool due to the bad weather. The lake is right next to the campsite and the only thing that impressed us was the large number of hungry mosquitoes. In high season there is also entertainment and a recreation room. We don't think it's a bad thing that bread rolls are only available from 09:00 on Sundays, it's very nice. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area, we spent Saturday at the Nonnweiler dam and were allowed to use the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the campsite on Sundays even after the scheduled departure time at 12:00 noon. Reinsfeld has a surprisingly diverse range of restaurants.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- coppens h.August 2015Θετικάoutdoor swimming pool, nothing elseΑρνητικάexpensive, by charging all kinds of supplements, no large food store in the area (distance nearest is 10 km !)very large campsite, very many dutchmen, noisy, expensivevery large campground, not crowded, mostly Dutch, evening show in dutch; only one sanitary block is recent and well maintained, the others are old and worn and dirty; electricity distribution dates from several decades ago; expensive : charge a lot for a dog, for each tent for the children; no internet unless paid at the entrance (expensive, limited flow); swimming pool present in open air; excursion : to Trier, MoselΑυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Thomas H.September 2014ΑρνητικάLousy restaurant, more like a snack bar. Poor value for money.Pure disappointment...The pitches are round. Interesting at first glance, until you start to puzzle over how 8 parking spaces are supposed to be created... There is a one-way street regulation, you are forced to drive around the site once when looking for a parking space --> I think that's stupid. The restaurant is more of a snack bar with the character of a pub.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- werner s.April 2014ΘετικάFriendly reception staff, functional new sanitary building, large pitches - unfortunately a bit crookedΑρνητικάSupply/electricity, drinking water, sewage - condition from 1986 an inappropriate traffic regulation/one-way traffic regulation,We were on the CPL for 1 week in April. few day campers, permanent campers, but many free places because the permanent campers fewer places, the pitches crooked and no solid ground, old power connection box / no CEE connection sockets, no water supply on the pitch / or in the circle, no waste water disposal... on the pitch, emptying the camping toilet only possible in the old, in need of renovation sanitary buildings, the new sanitary house / from 2013 is functional and not objectionable.ACSI-Carde is accepted.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Michael 1.April 2014ΘετικάGreat muddy area for children. Due to the size, there are many possibilities to find a quiet cornerΑρνητικάOnly absolute basic supply regarding parking space and other things Partly a bit run downThe space is huge. The round areas are actually nice. However, most of them are not level. We had to level our WW with a drive-on wedge. As it was still early in the season, it was very empty. Virtually no tourists. Only permanent campers. The pitches have an electricity column in the middle of the traffic... circle. There is nothing else. Water is usually only available in the sanitary buildings. Walking is the order of the day. The new sanitary building is functional and clean. However, there is no disposal facility for chemicals. This is only available in some buildings. Little lighting on the pitch. Everything still looks a bit unkempt. The swimming pool was empty and very dirty. No catering at the moment (no snacks either). A chef is probably due to start in May. The kiosk only meets minimal requirements. For children there is a playground, football pitch and a great water playground with storage facilities and really muddy sand. The operator is very friendly and helpful and is ready with lots of tips on excursions and food. Conclusion: What a shame, there could be so much more here.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Frank L.October 2013It was our first time on the site and we were thrilled. Super nice welcome from the groundskeeper, fine choice of pitches and a super modern, attractive sanitary building. It was a perfect stay.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Günter und Beatrix B.August 2013Well-kept campsite. Pitches only partially suitable for motorhomes because some are too sloping. New sanitary building with very good disabled washing cubicle. Unfortunately only one on the whole site so far. Nice restaurant, but only served currywurst or chips.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Gabi S.August 2013Staff very nice and courteous, location great, sanitary was under renovation (old but clean), restaurant made only small dishes (could offer more), will visit this place again next yearΑυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Thomas L.August 2013This was our 5th time at this campsite and we particularly appreciated the peace and spaciousness of the site, as well as the large, well-kept pool area. The sanitary facilities are mostly outdated, but clean throughout. There is a new, modern sanitary building which meets the highest standards. The... manager is very friendly and concerned about the well-being of the guests. It is a pity that the mini-golf course is no longer in operation and has been collecting dust for years. Otherwise, however, there are plenty of opportunities for leisure activities, and the site is also a good starting point for long walks in the surrounding area.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Martin B.July 2013Nice quiet campsite with a new wash house (more to follow). Walks of several hours feasible. Cycle path to Trier available. The highlight is the heated pool. Friendly staff who fulfill almost every wish, if possible. We will gladly go there again. Well worth a visit.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Ramona G.August 2010We are still looking for a contact partner, because we were misinformed by the employees and are now supposed to pay more than we were there and the politeness leaves much to be desired, I have never found such a bad sanitary facility. the campsite is so expensive and then such a bad treatment that can not be. we are very disappointed.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
