It is in a very quiet location on the edge of a fairly wooded residential area.
The first impression on arrival was later confirmed: a very clean and lovingly decorated site and a friendly "boss" (my wife calls her "Hanseatic").
The sanitary facilities are modern... and very clean; only the situation at the dishwashing sinks is not quite satisfactory from our point of view (but this is to be changed soon).
The food on the campsite is good (always a matter of taste, of course, but we found it delicious), the price/performance ratio is good and the warm friendliness of the service staff is unforgettable.
For children, there is a playground and a large fleet of vehicles including BobbyCars, pedal tractors, Kettcars and more.
The lending library, which has three Billy shelves, has a few surprises in store. Anyone expecting just a few well-worn paperback thrillers will be pleasantly surprised.
We had a good relationship with the permanent campers (most of whose facilities are also very lovingly maintained) and always had nice conversations.
The fact that there is no bread roll service is not a problem: you can be in the village by bike in a few minutes, where there are at least two bakeries. There is also a butcher's shop, various discount stores and supermarkets. There are also various cafés, restaurants and pubs.
For us it was a successful vacation in a wonderful area. Operator very helpful and friendly. Very nice location, close to the forest, deer, woodpecker breeding...we had a great time.

The homepage radiates a fresh cheerfulness and we thought it would be cool for us. But unfortunately we experienced the opposite when we drove onto the site. The site is in the middle of a residential area which unfortunately doesn't have much charm... because from the "through pitches" you look directly at detached houses and the road goes right past the site. In general, the site exudes the charm of an allotment garden.
The toilets and showers with shower curtains are new and tip top. If you don't like the curtain because there are no individual cabins, you can use another sanitary facility with individual cabins to connect, these are older but completely ok. The flushing is a bit strange as it is in the same room as the washing machines and the ladies toilet of the bistro. We also found the garbage disposal strange. At first we couldn't find anything as the garbage containers were enclosed. On request, we were then shown two normal garbage cans at the entrance with the statement, either it fits in there or you put it next to it. Perhaps a better solution should be considered here.
The site is surrounded by woods and paths where you can walk your dog. On arrival, however, it was said that you have to be careful because two dogs have already been poisoned here. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine and clean, some parts have been beautifully renovated. The pitches are spacious.
The site offers public transport connections within walking distance. With the Heide-Shuttle (free of charge incl. bicycle transport) you can... reach excursion destinations in the Lüneburg Heath. In our opinion, a journey of discovery to Jesteburg and the surrounding area is worthwhile for hikers and cyclists. A canoe trip on the Seeve is an experience. After 10 days, a lady came and asked us to pay, which is... actually customary on arrival, as they had had bad experiences.
We went to the office the next day and then came the nasty surprise in the form of the bill: 623€ for 3 people in 14 days (44.50€/day).

The icing on the cake were the self-planted berries within the grounds, which were available for visitors to snack on.
You feel well looked after here, the sanitary facilities are extremely clean and modern.
The opportunity to use the spring pool for swimming and cooling off was also very welcome.

In the preliminary telephone conversation, I had emphasized that I wanted to stand freely on a meadow, which I was assured of. Due to roadworks... on the highway and a detour before Jesteburg, I arrived at the campsite shortly after 1 pm. The gate was locked and I was blocking over 50% of the very narrow road with my almost 12-meter-long trailer. During a phone call, I was told that it was lunchtime and that this would be strictly adhered to. After all, I would be standing well on the road. In my opinion, customer friendliness is a different matter. It also turned out that the promised free parking space was not available and everything was blocked. Why were the cards not played with an open hand at the initial meeting? Because of these incidents, I left the inhospitable place and spent a wonderful week on another site.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

O.K. for overnight stays.We were there over the long Whitsun weekend. The place is average in my opinion. Would only book it again as an overnight stay. Due to the nice weather on the last day, we wanted to leave later, even for a fee, so that we could still use the day. We were not allowed to, although the pitch was only partially... occupied. The spring pool no longer looks like it does on the homepage. Thank you for your review. We take your rating very seriously and would like to improve at all times. Here are two comments.
Unfortunately, there was no possibility to extend your stay on that day. On the day in question, new campers had already registered or reserved. Of course,... under normal circumstances / low season there is the possibility to stay a few hours longer, but at full capacity this is a little difficult.
Our spring pool is 100% natural and the water is changed and cleaned at regular intervals. When the sun is shining brightly, algae growth can of course accelerate rapidly. The laboratory values are excellent at all times.
