The numerous unkempt pitches of the permanent campers, no water near the pitch, large quantities of green cuttings from the trees on the pitch and everywhere on the campsite.
There is still a lot to do.....
We had booked a "comfort pitch on the shore". Compared to other campsites, there was practically no comfort.
Wet meadow with lots of ducks and their droppings. A view of the water was not possible from the pitch due to the overgrowth.

Unfortunately, hardly anything good to say. What annoys me most are the incorrectly calculated fees (all our friends had errors). In the end, I even had to pay again (even more). It was a very long way to one of the wash houses and then it was very dirty there. Other toilets old, smelly, disgusting.... Kiosk very expensive.
At least we had (probably the only) pitch right by the water, even if the water quality hardly allowed swimming...
What a shame, but we won't be back!

Noise after 10.00 pm at Pentecost, 2 days early departure, price calculation incorrect - complaints were clarified on site.
Overnight stay from 24.05.20 to 02.06.20
From 24.05.20 to 02.06.20 we wanted to spend our vacation at the campsite. The given location was very good for the first 4 days. On Thursday a group arrived with a party tent. After that, there was constant noise with short interruptions. On Friday night (10.30pm) and Sunday (11.10pm) I asked the group... to turn down the music. This was also complied with. The first 4 days there was no cleaning of the sanitary area. Instead, there was a box with cleaning utensils in the anteroom. The box was labeled "Do it yourself". The sanitary area was cleaned on the following days. We left 2 days early due to the noise. On arrival, we were quoted a price of €438 (2 people, electricity, minibus, trailer). We then asked for a price review. The new price was €329. Then another correction of € 199. When we left early, the price was only reduced by the 2 days after we asked.
Conclusion: We will not come back a second time.

I have forgotten
beautiful place
Unfortunately not so easy in the "turmoil years". Even hygiene was bad then. Otherwise the place is a journey back in time to 1985 and therefore really cool! I really enjoyed it with the comforts of today in the WoWa. You can stand free in the forest, which is very cool. The team is very nice. Attention Easter always fully booked.

Just one...the swimming pond...you have to like swimming with carp
Super clean and very friendly place in natural condition
A very quiet site in natural surroundings with no pitches. You can also park your camper van "in the middle of the forest" but with super passable paths. The sanitary facilities are super clean with a family bathroom, the site is quiet and still suitable for children, including toddlers. The food in... the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. And the operators are very friendly. The only downside is for bathers. The pond is open for swimming, but the water is not very clean as it is a carp breeding pond. However, you can hire pedal boats very cheaply .... or take a free shower after swimming. There is a playground with a large sandpit for children on the beach. We would love to come back (mother, father, toddler with camper van)

very quiet, to explore things you need a car, great walk around the lake, you can also barbecue, sanitary facilities new (at the back)

No lighting to the sanitary room (at the back) at night, mobile home handed over cleaner, no opportunity to go to the restaurant / snack bar for dinner
Vacation 2018 as a family
The site is quite remote, but quiet. There is also wi-fi if there wasn't a fault like ours. It was very clean, the service was good and friendly.

no direct lakeside pitch, unkempt plants / hedges etc. very dark in the rear area of the pitch

Overall, the place seems very outdated. The reception building and the bistro make you think you've traveled back to 1980 - original (n)ostalgie flair :) The tent meadow is beautiful and situated by the lake, the pitches for permanent campers are very dark and uninviting, everything looks a bit run-down... and rumpy. The view of the lake is also obscured by large bushes / undergrowth. But: The sanitary building seems to be new, it was clean, bright and inviting. Perhaps investments will be made here in subsequent years to make the site more attractive. The location / surroundings are very nice for cycling tours and hikes. Conclusion: you can do it :)

Time has stood still
Dirty, the rear part of the site has been forgotten, garbage bins, broken old branches, unkempt, even the permanent campers find it a thorn in their side. Not only in the entrance area should one act to justify the price for the property

Hygiene of the sanitary facilities, very unsuitable for people with walking disabilities as the whole area is graveled and uneven

I don't know who wrote these reviews, but the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves a lot to be desired! The edge and bottom of the lake is full of algae! Bathing only for the insensitive! For people with disabilities only limited suitability! The site is very quiet. There is always shade as the site is in and near the forest.

A place to relax - pure nature. Absolutely recommendable.
A very nice place to relax, friendly and dedicated staff, clean modern sanitary facilities, large and level pitches, some right next to the shore, delicious food, cozy fireplace room. We will definitely be back.

If you love seclusion, tranquillity and nature, this is the place for you! With a rented rowing boat or pedal boat, you can navigate the artificial fish pond (carp), which was created several hundred years ago, and discover primeval forest-like conditions. The flora and fauna is rich in species. A nature... trail around the pond with helpful information boards (unfortunately a bit outdated) is recommended. There are parceled-out pitches (for permanent campers). However, every guest can pitch freely with a WOMO, camper or tent. The new sanitary facilities in the middle of the site are great!!! The sanitary facility at the reception is something for GDR purists, but despite the years clean and tidy. The operator is also the owner of a WOMO and caravan store in Kamenz. This makes him an expert contact person. The play facilities for children are limited, but the outdoor bowling alley and the aforementioned boat trips are something different. The independent youth camp at the end of the campsite with its wide range of activities could possibly be used to look after your own children. The camp activities never interfered with the rest of the campsite. The only "disadvantage" could be short-term overnight guests attending an event at the "Hutbergbühne Kamenz" and arriving back at a very late hour. The connection to the A-4 is very good. From here you can quickly get to Görlitz, Bautzen, Dresden, the Zittau or Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The price-performance ratio is good for permanent campers who are also on a weekly tour, i.e. not on the Pletz.

The campsite Deutschbaselitz is located just outside the village on a lake somewhat hidden but signposted from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 the main barrier is closed so that no access or departure to the place is possible, arriving guests have to wait in front of the barrier in the large parking... lot with their car but can enter the place on foot The staff seemed very friendly to me, although in places a bit in a hurry, I only got information on how exactly the access to the site worked when I asked and also only received a map of the campsite on request The site is mainly used by permanent campers who were all very friendly and with whom you could quickly get into conversation The pitches themselves are all very large and there is a nice pitch for everyone, the connections for the electricity are also sufficiently available The sanitary facilities were, in places a bit outdated at least the toilet area in the reception area, but the main sanitary building of the place would get 5 stars from me it offers everything you would expect from a campsite, 2 small kitchenettes, 1 family bathroom or There is a small restaurant on the site which was well attended and I found the price/performance ratio to be satisfactory. On the negative side, I noticed that there was paper and garbage lying around everywhere on the site and on the paths, and the site was not sufficiently lit at night, which made the walk to the sanitary building a bit of an adventure as it was in the middle of the forest and was not signposted, so if you hadn't already looked at it during the day and knew exactly where it would be located you will certainly have to search a little I think For children the place is also only suitable to a limited extent, firstly because it is a little outside and there is nothing for children in the village itself, although there is a playground, a sunbathing lawn and a bathing area on the site (bathing at your own responsibility), but the playground included a sandpit, the sunbathing lawn and the bathing area were very dirty with dog excrement everywhere you found old and new remains of it, probably no control is made here despite prohibition signs whether this is really kept a short video about this campsite can be found on my Youtube channel the link to this just ask me

The campground is nicely located in the woods by the lake. Tranquility, friendly staff, restaurant and a well-solved social area ( showers, laundry,kitchen) with a token system. We traveled by bicycle so we slept in a tent, which was not the slightest problem . The campground is halfway from Dresden to Guben. The dominant customers are owners of their own trailers, but there are also quite a few trailers for rent. I recommend
