The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. There is a cozy barbecue area and a snack restaurant right next to the site.

Unfortunately, many campsites are already closed in October and we are once again faced with closed barriers.
The site itself would be nice. Small, manageable, with a... pond, in quiet surroundings. Perfect for spending the night or relaxing for a few days. Too bad.
A passing policewoman sees our frustration and gives us a tip, which we use later ... and enjoy.
Thank you for that. You saved our weekend and we'll be back in the summer. Martin R.Μάιος 2021Θετικάquiet location, reasonable prices, good accessΑρνητικά-Top campsite at low pricesAfter being there for the first time last year, I visited the site again this year. In my opinion, the pitches are large enough and almost flat in the lower area. The meadow can be a bit muddy after several rainy days, but so far I haven't had any problems driving to or from the site. The caretaker,... Mrs. Alt, is extremely nice and sociable. Small problems are sorted out straight away.
The price of the pitch has gone up a bit ;-) to 5.50 EUR per night for adults. Caravans at 8 EUR. The electricity flat rate is 3 EUR. So everything is affordable.
The sanitary facilities of the bathing kiosk can then be used in the future full operation.
Weitra, Schrems and Gmünd are within easy reach by car.
I will certainly come back, if only because of the wonderful hiking environment.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
klaus t.Μάιος 2021ΘετικάPeace and quiet, beautiful bathing pond, clean sanitary facilitiesΑρνητικάThe showers and toilets could become too small when the adjacent bathing pond is at full capacity.Usable despite renovation workWe were at the campsite at Whitsun. Due to excavation work by the municipality (electricity for the new bathhouse and WLAN at the CP), the "surroundings" were unfortunately a bit ugly. As it also rained a lot, the access road was very muddy. But that will all change and so the site is highly recommended.... The Nebelstein can be hiked and you can go a long way by bike. New, very clean sanitary facilities (a dry place to put clothes in the shower would be great). The lockers in the sanitary area are also nice. Lovely swimming pond with a small shaded "sandy beach" and shallow area for the little ones. The kiosk by the... pond is open in good weather. Baker also comes to the site. There are inns and wine taverns nearby. Camping here is still like it used to be, you look for your pitch and register when you get the chance. Everyone is considerate and there is no need for supervision. The municipal employee who looks after the site is very friendly and helpful, you simply feel at home.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

I used to go to the campsite with a youth group of 30 children, which didn't bother anyone. Now with my own children, aged 7 and 9, they demand every year that we come to this campsite for a week in August. The small kiosk snack... bar also had fair prices and very friendly service. Big praise to Mrs. Alt who rocks the CP there whether sanitary facilities, kiosk snack bar, green area everything clean by her.
