We were shown around the site and were able to choose one of the free pitches. There are no plots or hedges to mark out. The campsite is run by two brothers. Communication is very good as both brothers speak very good German. There are plenty of power points to supply the... vehicles. These are fused with 6A. The sanitary facilities are very good and are constantly and thoroughly cleaned. There is a small store on the campsite where you can buy almost everything. There are several restaurants nearby. The beach is a dream, almost like the Caribbean.
However, a vehicle is advisable. The supermarket is very well stocked and the prices are moderate. The beach is very beautiful and offers a great view of Mount Athos. Guntram H.May 2018Θετικά- Everything you need is there - beautiful sandy beach with a direct view of Mount AthosΑρνητικά- we wouldn't know any!There is still camping in the true sense of the word!21-26.05.2018: Congratulations to the operators of this campsite! Camping with a tent, caravan or motorhome is the main focus. The "quick buck" with bungalows is not sought after! The flat terrain is almost completely shaded by tall trees and the sanitary buildings are always kept clean. You can always... see someone cleaning and wiping. The number of sanitary facilities is adapted to the space available. Hot water at all times! - You receive a friendly welcome at reception and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Communication is in Greek, English or German (I think even a little Dutch). - A small store on site has everything you need. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the neighborhood no longer exists. The owner helps!Very familiar and very cleanNo luxury, and a very friendly host family. Everyone speaks perfect German or very good English. Lots of shade and a short walk across the road to the huge sandy beach. Very clean (and constantly cleaned!!) sanitary facilities and well-maintained trees. Great helpfulness of the operator for everything:... installation of SAT antenna, information for supplies, or whatever you are looking for (tools, etc.). Good W-LAN coverage throughout the site, but very slow when all the kids are playing. Interesting mix of permanent campers and short-term guests, mostly Bulgarian to Greek-Romanian, Germans or Austrians are the minority, all guests are very friendly and sociable, at night it is always quiet! So if you're looking to socialize with other campers, you'll find it here, and if you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it too! I am a permanent camper here for the first time this year and have been here for the second time since April/May. Certainly not for the last time this year! I have 2 dogs with me, but there is nothing to be seen of the supposedly masses of stray dogs, the only "stray" dog is a very lovely female who (unfortunately) only very rarely visits the campsite! Good supplies in the supermarket right next to the campsite, and if something is missing there, the operator always has a good tip ready. The daily view of Mount Athos and the morning swim in the really beautiful sea are very special! Another special goodie is the huge open sandy beach, which always allows a light breeze to reach the camp even in hot temperatures. Very friendly and helpful staff, bathroom facilities nice, clean, sinks available for food preparation, possibility of washing by hand or in the washing machine (2014 - for 4 E), we cooked on a single-plate electric cooker - no problems, 3 fridges available. It's within walking distance to the beach, which hardly ever gets crowded. You can find a couple of nice restaurants in the proximity, or you can go for a walk towards the south side of the bay, for more options.

SARAKINOS E.July 2010More or less a small family camping but well organised. The beach is on the other side of the road and is a beautiful sandy beach with relatively sallow waters suitable for children. The shading provided by elms and pines is superb and ideal for tents. The camping provides free wifi spots a laundry facility... as well as a barbeque facility with wooden benches. There is a mini market with relatively low prices and sufficient number of goods, although few kilometers away one can find supermarkets (in Sarti or Sykia villages). There is neither a restaurant inside the camping nor a bar but there are two bars on either side of the beach and few local taverns (Inside info try the roasted portions). The facilities are clean and uncrowded with warm water 24/7. The charges are among the lowest in Chalkidiki.
