In strong onshore winds danger from the river flowing close by. Larger stores in Öliva, about 4 km away.
Danger of flooding!
After we had a very good experience in January 2016, we almost flooded in Jan. 2017. The whole site was up to 50 cm under water in places. We were lucky that we were a little higher up and only the wheels were 20 cm in the water. According to other campers, it happens more often there.

Top beach
The extra charge for the pitch on the dunes is worth it, you have a great view of the beach - otherwise it's an ordinary campsite. Quiet and really ok. In the low season the sanitary building is unfortunately only cleaned 1-2 times a week, especially before the weekend when the hordes of Spanish short... vacationers arrive. There are two old and one new sanitary building, the old ones are pretty run down. The beach is nice and wide, sandy with shallow access. Great for children, if you don't mind the long drive from Germany and want to vacation among pensioners if necessary. Temperatures are right even in the low season, the sun is not too hot, but the water is pleasant. We discovered the place by chance last year and went there on purpose. All the niggles are negated by the lovely beach atmosphere. Excursions can be made from here to Valencia, Alicante and Elche. Addition 2017: One sanitary building was closed for a week in mid-June. The whole building is closed for cleaning, which is no longer up to date.

Very beautiful, secluded (unguarded) beach behind a belt of dunes. You can stand directly on the dunes for an extra €2.30.

Possibly dangerous in heavy rain. We had 20-30 cm of water on the whole pitch. Pitches on dam but ok. WLAN not available everywhere.
Small place in beautiful nature
A quiet little, somewhat secluded place. Good for a few days to relax. Friendly reception. The extra charge of € 2.30 to stand on a dam directly on the dunes is worth it. In the 1st row a clear view of the sea. But also nice in the second row. In the off-season there were usually still places available.... Very nice, wide beach with a wide belt of dunes where you can lie sheltered from the wind. The water is shallow. Sandy ground there too. We once had a downpour in which all the streets, sidewalks and many of the pitches were completely flooded (20-30 cm of water). The sewage system is not working properly. It was only around midday that pumps were set up and put into operation to remove the water. In 2009, the water level on the campsite was 1.5 meters. All the remaining caravans and mobile homes are said to have been damaged. An additional drainage channel was then built, but in our case it was not sufficient. The sanitary facilities were raised by 1.5 m so that they were not affected by the water. We then moved to the embankment behind the dunes. It is safe there (2m higher). The sanitary facilities are cleaned once a day. They are simple but ok. Toilets have toilet seats (unfortunately this is not the case on all pitches in Spain). WLAN costs 4€/day or 6€ 2 days or 10€ per week or 17€ for 2 weeks or 20€ per 30 days. Reception is not good everywhere. You have to look for a suitable place. The nearest Lidl is in Verger (towards Denia) on the N332A (Av. Valencia). A trip to Denia with its old town, castle and harbor is worthwhile (approx. 20 km). Also possible by bike.

Super campsite for swimming and sunbathing
The signposted approach at night was a real challenge with a long and wide trailer. The roads were very narrow. However, with a little local knowledge, there are also easy routes through the adjacent new-build district. The highlight for our family was walking to the sea with its huge, beautiful beach.... This campsite is ideal for a beach vacation. Unfortunately, you can hardly go on tours with small children on bikes, but that wasn't our aim. The reception was absolutely friendly and there was a lot of freedom (inflating the dinghy at the campsite's own compressor, washing the car at the washing area, borrowing a ladder to stretch the awning between the trees, borrowing a fridge from an electric company [including delivery and collection and arrangement by reception]). Even when we arrived shortly after midnight, we were able to move into our reserved pitch. A small store provides a good supply of the essentials. The pizza from the small pizzeria next door also tasted good. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly, the roads were swept and even the leaves were raked up. We have booked again for next year.

Hello, we stayed at this campsite for three weeks in July 2012. The site was mainly occupied by Spaniards (approx. 90%). The pitches on the main site are rather small and less suitable for larger caravans, but they are shady (which I wouldn't necessarily want). The pitches directly on the beach, by the... dunes, are larger and still easy to drive on with caravan lengths of up to approx. 15 m, although the supports on the ramp to the dunes do touch down (you have to drive very carefully here). The ground is predominantly chalky and extremely hard. Normal pegs fail here. It is best to use 20 cm nails with rakes, or a Hilti ;-) The beach was very clean (was cleaned every morning around 6:00 - 7:00). There were plenty of sunbeds on the beach, the beach seemed almost empty. The water was always crystal clear. The sanitary facilities are rather basic and not necessarily up to date (worn fittings, some toilet cubicles far too small). The cleanliness was also not always so famous, here the cleaning staff should clean 2 - 3 times a day and not just once in the morning. The place was 50% later 75% occupied, how should it look with a 100% occupancy. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The small supermarket was sufficient for emergencies and always had fresh baguettes and cold drinks. The owner spoke good German and was friendly, which unfortunately cannot be said of the employee. He was rather arrogant and not very friendly to German guests (some just never realize that they are dependent on the holidaymakers and not the other way around). The bar/snack bar on the beach missed its target. It is dirty, not very cozy and some of the staff are unfriendly. The food is lower middle class, a pity. Some vacationers would certainly have liked to eat and drink something here in the evening. There is a night watch and patrols. There is virtually nothing on offer for children and teenagers. There is also no disco in the area. There are several beach bars 1.5 km along the beach towards Oliva. In addition to cocktails, they offer various other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and good music. Dogs can do their business outside the campsite. Shopping facilities are easily accessible by car (11 km away in the direction of Denia) is a large shopping center "La Marina". The campsite is located behind a residential area (mainly single-family vacation homes). In general, the campsite is in category II (it already does that itself). Personally, I would like to see a little more Mediterranean chic. A splash of fresh color here and there would make it look friendlier. If you're looking for peace and quiet, a great view, a beautiful beach and a clean sea, this is the place for you, if the cleanliness were better. Personally, I will be looking for another place for us. Greetings Tom

The site is located on a very beautiful fine sandy and very shallow beach. The pitches are mostly very shady under large trees. Directly on the dune there are some pitches with a view of the beach without vegetation. The pitches are level on firm ground and vary greatly in size. In general, the campsite... is quite quiet, but at the weekend it got crowded and noisy due to short-term vacationers (especially large families). There is a small store and a nicely located restaurant, but this is only open at weekends in the low season.

Quiet place right by the sea under partly ancient trees. Very friendly receptionist who answered all questions in German. Sanitary facilities are fine. Access to the pitches is easy.
