"Beautifully situated campsite - We were there for a weekend in the summer. Unfortunately it was very rainy and cool, but the heated sanitary facilities and covered swimming pool made it bearable. The staff are very nice and helpful, the bread delivery service works great and the site is beautifully situated in the countryside. We would love to come back. Our sanitary facilities were modern and well maintained. The facilities near the entrance were very old.

"Not recommended in October - We chose this campsite to spend a few quiet, relaxing days in the Vosges. We got a large sunny pitch as requested when we booked. Unfortunately, the beautiful new sanitary block was closed, so we had to use the very old, clean facilities. (not 4 stars) In the morning there were delicious fresh baguettes to order. The area is beautiful for walking and good routes start right next to the campsite, which are also ideal for walking. Unfortunately, our vacation mood was severely affected from the 3rd day onwards. From morning to evening, the free pitches were dug up, leveled and finally sprayed with a smelly liquid. The workers wore hearing protection. Unfortunately, we campers did not. The roof of the closed swimming pool was also sanded down. So there was no chance of relaxing on the site. After I complained to the site management, they merely pointed out that this work would have to be done at some point. That may be true, but not when there are still paying guests on site who have earned their vacation and rest. The surrounding pitches were already closed, otherwise we would have moved. The well-being of the guests doesn't seem to play a role here. We left a day early. I would therefore not recommend the campsite to others.

"Nice, small place - Very friendly staff, very clean sanitary facilities both new and old, bread on pre-order in September, large shady and sunny pitches and quiet location. Ideal for excursions. Plenty of exercise for dogs. Nice indoor swimming pool to open.

"Beautiful campsite - We were here with the caravan for 10 days in Sept/Oct 2018. Very nice place. Sanitary facilities very old but clean. New sanitary building under construction. Should be ready in May 2019. Very nice operator. Central location for hiking: directly from the campsite or a short distance from the Route des Crêtes.

"Great campsite with not so great sanitary facilities - Beautiful campsite in a great location between two lakes in the Vosges. ---Nice owner couple who spoke fluent German, English and Dutch, as did the entertainer. There was a small program every day, the highlight for us was the wine tasting and the market, for the children the circus. ---- Our pitch was very nicely situated by a small river, which helped me to relax a lot while the child was busy at the stream. ---- We liked the swimming pool, it could be a little warmer --- Many nice excursion possibilities in the surrounding area, we were also very nicely informed about various events and excursion possibilities directly on arrival. --- There is the possibility to buy baguettes etc. on site without having to order them in advance, which we really appreciated. --- The only drawback was the sanitary facilities, which were simply too few and consistently not clean (especially wet floors, even in dry weather), although they were cleaned regularly. If this could be improved, we would be very happy to stay at this great place again!

"8-day stay in a tent in August 2017 2adults and 2children (ages 9 and 13) - We spent a very good week there in August we were in tent (site 113) very well located (just a little hic: a few small stones on the site that have damaged the tarpaulin of the floor of the tent.but good nothing nasty) The campsite is top both on the entertainment as on the welcome, the availability of managers and of course the cleanliness of the place.If we return one day it is surely in this campsite that we will stay.

Προφίλ

The quiet, child-friendly Verte Vallée campsite is located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, with the picturesque Lake Longemer within walking distance. Thanks to the extensive forests and the many lakes, streams and rivers, this area is ideal …for water sports enthusiasts, hikers, mountain bikers and road cyclists. The site is surrounded by the wooded low mountain range of the Vosges. The large pitches are mostly located on the banks of the small river Vologne. Trees and shrubs separate them from each other. The surface is grass. Would you like to rent something? In that case, you can choose from mobile homes, caravans, hikers' cabins and lodges. There is a lovely heated swimming pool with a sliding roof. Deckchairs and sunshades are available around the pool. Children (and their parents) can play to their hearts' content by the stream on the campsite. The lake at Longemer, which is suitable for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts, is 400 metres away. A path leads from the campsite to the lake, which is a short walk away. There are plenty of opportunities for children to play, from trampolines and bouncy castles to a table tennis table and a bad weather room. The entertainment programme in high season is well organised. There is a children's club every day and a fun themed evening (with music and dancing) for the whole family a few times a week. There is a bar (with a terrace) and a small campsite shop for your daily shopping. There is also a daily bread delivery service. Fancy a day of pure indulgence? Takeaway food trucks (pizza, kebab, chips and various snacks) come by several times a week.
