After completing the registration form, we were immediately given a key for the barrier.
As we arrived on a Sunday, there was only one "place in the sun" for us. We were told straight away that we were welcome to change the next morning (after the neighbors... opposite had left). As the electricity consumption is included, the change of location was no problem. We were also able to set up an additional tent without any problems.
We were regularly asked if everything was to our satisfaction.
The sanitary facilities, the pitch, simply everything was well maintained and clean.

The all-inclusive price means that items are paid for which did not arise, such as a second person, animal or electricity, even if no connection was used.When greed for money prevailsI was a regular on the course, made friends and also wrote a positive report last year.
What happened?
During the plandemic, the daily rate was increased by 3 euros because of the disinfectant. Nobody uses that, but OK. So from 18 to 21 euros for me per day.
Then the board, the site is run by an association,... decided to replace the individual pricing with a flat rate from 01.09.2023.
In other words, single travelers will now pay 29.50 euros instead of 21 euros, provided they have previously used electricity.
8.50 euros more for a second person who isn't there, for an animal that doesn't exist and for WiFi that doesn't work.
Sorry, but for me this is discrimination against people traveling alone.
Transients who only need a place to sleep pay a flat rate for electricity without being connected and for an animal that is not there.

The site was perfectly fine and well suited for this.
The operators were very friendly and the site is clean.
However, you definitely need a car for a longer stay, as there are no shopping facilities within walking distance and there is also nothing on the site itself. Everyone can stand where they want, of course without obstructing others, but that should be a matter of course.
Sufficient electricity and water supplies are available on the site. There is a nice playground and a football... pitch for children.
The large sanitary building has the charm of the 80s, but is fully functional and very clean, which is important to me.
At night you can sometimes hear the call of the tawny owl or deer.
The nearby forest is perfect for a walk.
If you want, you can also cycle to the Egestorf barefoot park or the Lüneburg Heath wildlife park. Another advantage is the relative proximity to cities such as Hamburg, Lüneburg or Soltau (tank museum).

For a caravan/motorhome with 2 adults, €18.00 is due, plus €3.00 for waste and water and €2.50 for electricity. For the services listed in the comparison price, € 23.50 is payable.
In return, you get a spacious pitch in a peaceful natural setting.... The L 212, which runs directly past the site, is hardly used at night and is therefore not a nuisance. The sanitary facilities are not up to date but are very clean.
There are no shopping facilities on the site and the clubhouse, where you can at least get drinks and snacks, is only open on three evenings from 18:00. The nearest supermarket is a good 6 km away in Salzhausen and is very well stocked.

The welcome was very warm and unbureaucratic. First of all, you arrive, choose a pitch on the large area, set up and register from 5 pm. The sanitary building has the charm of the 1970s, but everything... is fully functional and very clean. Unlike some pitches, there are plenty of toilets, showers and wash cubicles available. The Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park is 4 km away, the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park, Hagenbeck Hamburg, Lüneburg, Winsen a.d.L or the Trister Moor with its moor railroad are easily accessible by car. Unfortunately, the local store is closed, but supplies can be obtained during an excursion. The internet is a little intermittent, which didn't bother me. All in all, a successful stay. The site is close to the highway, but it didn't bother us, you could hardly hear the noise in the caravan. The site is ideal for trips to... the heath in Undeloh and the surrounding area, as well as for visiting the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park or destinations in Hamburg. We were given very friendly instructions and there was always someone available if we had any requests. The sanitary facilities are numerous and kept very clean. The woman at the registration desk was always very nice and friendly. We had a free choice of pitch on a large meadow. With a recommendation and a bit of maneuvering, we found a straight pitch. Unfortunately,... there were no catering facilities on the site, so we always had to dismantle before breakfast in order to drive to the nearby town to get bread rolls. However, the nearby highway was a real problem. As the tent walls of our pitched roof have no soundproofing effect whatsoever, the noise is constantly present. The 45-50 db measured with a cell phone is not excessively loud, but the constant noise can be annoying. P.S. for urgent emergencies: the toilet paper dispenser hangs centrally on the wall of the toilet room, not in the boxΑυτόματη μετάφραση.

A good choice. Also a centrally located campsite for visiting the many excursion destinations here in the Nordheide. Spacious sanitary facilities, always very clean.
