Di K.July 2022ΘετικάBeautifully situated, dog-friendly with bathing lake incl. dog beach. Clean sanitary facilities, provided the users behave themselves. You can go for a good walk around the site, which is also very green. Super nice operators, have been coming here regularly for 3 years. Since last year there has been a Spanish restaurant next door with tapas and a super-delicious sangria.ΑρνητικάThat some campers think they have to entertain the whole place with their banging. And I'm not talking about the party campers...Small but nice...Simple, but absolutely worth the price.
People know each other and help each other.
And as long as everyone behaves considerately and respectfully, this is a lovely place for a relaxing vacation, even in high season.
Sufficiently large pitches with water and electricity for all types of caravans or... motorhomes.
Waste water disposal is a bit adventurous, as this is done at the wash house by removing the manhole cover from the waste water shaft and aiming well.
Small playground on the site (there is another one next to the restaurant for free use) plus a football pitch and volleyball court. Plus plenty of grassy areas to play badminton etc. On top a bit of forest and undergrowth, in which a new hut is regularly built from branches.
Lots of shady spots right by the lake, which has several access points for swimming and a jetty with pedalo hire.
On the dog beach, there are plenty of sunbathing spots on the lawn and a shallow entrance to the lake.
There are also garbage cans and poop bag dispensers along the paths.
4 showers, 5 separate washing areas and several toilets.
These are cleaned regularly, but in high season, when there are lots of "piglets" out and about, it can sometimes happen that the sanitary facilities don't look so nice and clean despite being cleaned. But this is definitely not down to the staff!
In summer, when the weather is good, there are lots of party people, so it can get a bit restless at night. But everything can actually be sorted out.
There is a bread roll service, gas sales and plenty of snack bars/restaurants that also deliver to the campsite.
Plus, as already mentioned, a Spanish restaurant.
There are sometimes several dogs on the site, as well as many (friendly) permanent campers.
We like to stay here longer to relax (family with 2 teenagers plus dog), our absolute favorite place!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Loud noises from the nearby concrete works during the week. Stony ground, you can't put up an awning with normal pegs.Good campsiteVery nicely located campsite. Friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities. The plot a bit small and not divided. Stony ground. You can forget about normal herrings.

No control of noisy guests (>July)Popular place with corresponding advantages and disadvantagesUncomplicated, quick booking on site or by email. Well suited for swimming, hiking and cycling. Very tidy sanitary facilities on site (all inclusive) and a friendly kiosk with a great, reasonably priced range of coffee and cakes. The lake is a popular local recreation area. As a tourist, you share the... camping area with people from the surrounding area who want to spend a weekend or more here. It can get crowded on hot days. There is an outdoor pool (with restaurants) right next door. Great cycle paths north of the campsite in the lowlands. Great side roads for motorcyclists south of the campsite = Wiehengebirge. We were warmly welcomed and served by the staff. Nobody could do anything about the poor weather. The site is in a quiet location and has a beautiful lake. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and clean, but there weren't very many of... us on the campsite. The nearby restaurant was unfortunately closed and could not be visited. All in all, we were very satisfied. The pitches are nice and big, the sanitary building is well maintained and also quite new. There are fresh bread rolls directly at the registration desk and delicious cakes in the afternoon. The lake is beautifully situated and the restaurant has a very good price/performance ratio. The late arrival was agreed and probably not a problem. However, with "only" around 35 tourist pitches, you should ask in advance (we did). The site is normally easy to reach, but at the moment it's a bit of an adventure due to a lot of roadworks on the... main roads around it. The pitches we had reserved were rather sandy, but at least most of them were covered with grass. The sanitary facilities are good and clean and can only be accessed with a key. Fresh bread rolls, coffee and cake are available in the kiosk right next to the registration desk. Apart from one permanent camper, we had to deal with friendly and open people throughout. A restaurant with great schnitzels at good prices is a 2-minute walk from the campsite. However, it takes a little longer for the food to arrive - but we survived ;-). The campsite is dog-friendly, but you can't see any dog waste - but you can hear it very clearly in places, which is not the dogs' fault. Satellite reception is problematic (at least on the pitches we were on) - but we were in a nice overgrown area. The only other point deduction was for the sparse distribution of fresh water / waste water points. Tip for improvement: Perhaps double the number of stations. We once had water / waste water within a radius of approx. 18 pitches (tourists). Perhaps a few more tourist pitches could be built, the site certainly offers potential for this. The reception crew is still friendly and eager to satisfy all campers. Marina from the kiosk is still a phenomenon in the way she takes care of the daily bread and cake supply with her very limited possibilities. No matter how stressful it is,... she has a friendly word for everyone. Unfortunately, the impression of the campsite is fading over the years. The empty permanent pitches are overgrown and do not invite you to set up your weekend home here. This urgently needs work! There are also a large number of very unkempt pitches. Unfortunately, the sanitary block has not been enlarged. The building is not designed for the Whitsun crowds. In the morning there were long queues in front of the 4 showers in the men's area, the same picture in front of the toilet cubicles. Even the makeshift containers could not provide a remedy here. THE SANITARY BUILDING IS CERTAINLY NOT SUFFICIENT FOR NORMAL OCCUPANCY!!! A NoGo in my eyes is the cleaning time! The cleaning staff, who are always hard at work, do their job at peak times. Showers are included in the price. The pitches are clean and well-kept. The reception is exemplary and very friendly. Unfortunately, there is a concrete factory opposite the site, which makes a bit of noise all day. Attention: (small) children are in constant danger due to constantly speeding cars. No attention is paid to whether dogs are kept on a lead and where they do their business. Many campers do not respect the rest periods and... are happy to drive their cars at night or in the middle of the day. Many children have already taken to the roads with their bicycles. The Kronenburg restaurant is also more of a sham than a reality. If you're drinking a beer there and fancy some chips, you're made to understand that it's not a chip shop. But since we have to deal with constant changes of ownership, time plays in our favor :-) I know what I'm writing about. I am a permanent camper with two small children.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
Leonhard H.May 2012I can only agree with the previous writer, peace, relaxation, swimming, food, everything was perfect. We were there over Whitsun and it was packed. This meant that the sanitary facilities were a bit overloaded. Nevertheless, the two nice tile beauticians were in a good mood. The boss also had a nice word for everyone and was very helpful. - Josee D.June 2010Beautiful, spacious place with well-kept sanitary facilities. Well-run, wonderful night's sleep, hard-working cleaning ladies, really nice staff. Both shady and sunny pitches, some with a view of the lake. Very convenient for dog owners who want to swim with their dogs. Very spacious and extensive beach... area, mostly grassy edge, sometimes a little sand; lido with more sand right next to the campsite. Large area directly on the lake for campers, therefore a little further to the sanitary facilities.
