"Motorhome parking space - On prior request, the pitch was also suitable for a caravan. Electricity, dishwashing facilities and a toilet/shower were available. We were allowed to dispose of faeces in the toilet bowl if we did not use chemicals. However, we could dispose of a chemical toilet at a campsite about 7 km away. The pitch was very narrow as it went down a small slope on one side and the access road and parking lot of a vacation apartment were supposed to remain free on the other side. The cable to the socket had to be run down a wall and then along a gate, a total of 25 meters. The "washing-up facility" was an old sink for milk cans in the old milk kitchen, which had been converted into a laundry room. Unfortunately, there was regularly a mountain of dirty laundry next to it and the washing machine pumped into the sink, from which the water flowed openly into a gully on the floor, so that you had to protect yourself and your own washing-up bowl from the hot dirty water. The sanitary area with a toilet, two showers and two washbasins was okay, but the way there led through a dilapidated vestibule and up two wobbly steps improvised from pallets. Unfortunately, the toilet was not only used by the guests of the camping barrel and the pitch, but also by other guests during the day and in the evening. I had to call in the resulting cleaning requirements several times. Loud one-day roof cleaning work was very annoying. 45 per day for 2 people + €2 for electricity is a completely exaggerated price for the "service" offered. We were asked to pay for 6 days electricity for 5 nights ("We always do it this way.") This is outrageous despite the small amount. We could not pay the bill by card ("technical reasons"), but had to get cash. If we hadn't had an appointment there with our children and grandchildren, we would have left after the first inspection.

"Camping on the farm - We stayed at the farm during the Easter vacation. The farm has two pitches with electricity and a beautiful view. There is no waste disposal station. But there are showers and toilets. It's great for a few days, but we wouldn't stay any longer. The price is quite high for what is on offer. The children have a lot of freedom there. Nice playground, play barn, animals... The barbecue hut is really nice. We rented it for an evening. Highly recommended! If you want to use the Black Forest Card, you have to pay extra. There is not much difference to a vacation apartment and you have more comfort. If you want to camp on a farm with children, the area is very nice.
