Hjo is a nice little town, which at least at least on Sunday, only that we can judge, is heavily disturbed by x times through the place driving Uraltautos... ... loud ... and smelly ... that is such a pity ...

Volker L.August 2017ΘετικάQuiet location on the edge of the beautiful "wooden town of Hjo", very friendly and helpful staffΑρνητικάStandard pitches are located on large, unparceled meadowsThe location and proximity to the city center are crucial!This was our second time at this wonderful campsite (although this year without the craft fair) and we can only confirm our rating from 2015: This well-kept, quiet campsite is located directly on the banks of the Vättern and in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful town of Hjo. We hadn't made a reservation... and there was a craft fair in the adjacent town park. We suspected something bad... But the very friendly staff at reception found an ideal solution for us! We were spontaneously given a pitch right on the lakeshore with electricity and access to the city park - a dream! Contrary to expectations, it was very quiet despite the craft fair and full occupancy! Sanitary facilities not the most modern but clean. The "wooden town" Hjo ("Ju") is beautiful, offers great restaurants (tip "Hamnkrogen" directly at the harbor!) and there is no lack of stores. Nevertheless, it is very idyllic and easy to reach on foot from the campsite through the town park with its beautiful wooden villas. Our opinion - you should definitely have seen Hjo and the campsite on a tour of Sweden!Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Peter S.June 2013I was here on a stopover on my motorcycle. Very well located CP, tent meadow directly on the lake. Adjacent city park, with outdoor pool, mini golf and harbor with many restaurants. D# L.August 2011HJO is a place where you can enjoy swimming in clear water. You can enter the water from the jetty or walk along the stony waterway. The pitches are protected from view by bushes and are open at the sides. Good for a few days or a stopover. Good starting point for sightseeing/excursions. Beach very stony and only accessible with flip-flops. Sanitary facilities ok, small store with fresh bread rolls and baked goods every day. Only a few steps into town on foot.
