Sanitary not so prickelnd.Central to GlencoeThe campsite is in a quiet location, directly on Loch Leven. The pitches are surfaced with chippings, unfortunately very small grains that get stuck in the shoe tread. The sanitary facilities are older, cramped and not always as clean as I have experienced on other sites. If you have booked a pitch and arrive later, you can read on a clearly recognizable sign where you can settle down. An ice cream van comes by every day during the season. :-) The reception offers... a small selection of groceries, there is a small grocery store in the village itself and the nearest supermarket is in Ballachulish, about 10 minutes away by bike. The first row is 5 m below on asphalt. Registered and paid in the evening, everything uncomplicated. Sufficient sanitary facilities and always clean. At the entrance we found the reception closed as we arrived after opening time. We were told that we could choose a free, unreserved pitch ourselves. Andreas und Petra S.June 2015BellevueWell-kept site directly on the banks of Loch Leven. Mostly gravelled pitches with adjacent grass. The service pitches in the first row on the shore cost 2 pounds extra, but the surface is asphalt and gravel throughout. The 2nd row is approx. 3m higher and therefore also enjoys an unobstructed view of... the lake. A spacious shelter with seating offers protection from the rain. We paid 23 pounds for a mobile home with 2 people (incl. electricity) at the beginning of June. Dogs and cats cost 1 pound extra each. WiFi is available for a fee. Showers are free but the hairdryer costs 20 pence. The sanitary facilities are outdated and in my opinion no longer appropriate for the price.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

There are opportunities for water sports (slipway for boats) and hiking trails directly from the site. The site is located directly on the road that leads around Loch Leven. Sometimes there was noise disturbance here.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.- Thomas D.August 2011The rule of the game is: choose a pitch, pitch your tent (or park your caravan) and wait for the warden to arrive. We had made a reservation (a 30% deposit was required) - I'm not so sure whether the pitch or a pitch is really available in the evening. It was quite full during our stay in August. The... pitches themselves are good for camping, as they are flat and quite firm. The view of Loch Leven from the tent is of course great. The sanitary facilities were a little problematic: between 7:30 and 9:30 there were long queues at the showers - and the washing area looked accordingly. Cleaning only once a day despite the busy times with an insufficient number of washing and shower areas - not enough (especially in bad weather). Drains were partly clogged with hair. The situation with the toilets was even worse: during our 3-day stay, parts of the toilet cubicles were permanently under water (presumably due to a defect) and were quite dirty - I didn't really notice whether any cleaning took place at all. Gunter R.May 2007Location and tranquillity score the most points here. The pitches are not parceled out, slightly sloping and you should have longer cables with you for the power supply. The sanitary facilities are a little older but clean. The service is friendly and helpful - you drive onto the pitch in the evening,... look for a free space and wait for the cashier. The surroundings are stunning, it's actually what drives you to Scotland. The history of the country has been written here in the glen. Walkers like Munros get their money's worth here.
