Προσωπικά μου αρέσουν όλα σε αυτό το κάμπινγκ, παρόλο που είναι σχετικά μικρό, απολαμβάνω τη διαμονή μου εκει
Ιδανικό για βαθιά χαλάρωση
Υπέροχη διαμονή, απόλυτα χαλαρωτική. Αν θέλετε ξενύχτια με γλέντια ή διάφορες ξενοδοχειακές πολυτέλειες δεν ειναι το ιδανικό μέρος για να πάτε. Αν όμως θέλετε να ζήσετε μια χαλαρωτική εμπειρία στην πανέμορφη ΦΥΣΗ με τα παιδιά σας, σε ένα ήρεμο περιβάλλον, τότε είστε στο σωστό σημείο!

Small square with lots of flair
The campsite is located in a small bay in the south of Pelion and has a beautiful sandy beach. It is a little out of the way and therefore very quiet, making it particularly suitable for people who want to relax. The sanitary facilities are in top condition. Olive trees provide plenty of shade. There is a taverna next door to the camping taverna. I ended up here by chance and feel really at home.

Located in a bay where there is nothing else. All the towns and restaurants are too far away.
Cp Kastri, not only positive...
Since I visited the Cp in 1987, it has not improved. The sandy beach is still just as beautiful. The sanitary facilities are functional and the hot water works. The narrow access road is now asphalted but the notorious hairpin bend still exists. As beautiful as the natural site and its view of Skiathos... is, there is nothing there, at least in the low season. No market, no restaurant. There is a restaurant next door and also (with) a beach bar, but unfortunately we are far from good. If you sit at the front of the beach bar nobody comes, they don't run to the front, they have enough to do in the restaurant (with two occupied tables). I really liked the location and the design, but otherwise you can order your daily pastries there with a reservation. If you only have a motorhome, it is difficult to get to the nearest villages, which are a few kilometers away and it is always uphill. The manager speaks German, and food that is needed can also be obtained by prior arrangement. The fruit and vegetable van still drives to the campsite as it did back then.

A beautiful, natural campsite situated in a sandy bay about 200 m wide and very quiet, with many rustic olive trees and beautiful pitches with or without shade. Wonderful views of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Evia. The ideal setting for nature lovers and individualists to relax and recharge their... batteries!!! Since we want to make an objective and honest comment, we have to state that some statements from previous reviews are not correct. The site has not existed since 1970, but since 1980, and has been renovated several times since then (the taverna was rebuilt in 2003). The showers work, the hot water supply is also guaranteed, and the door locks are all in order, everything looks spotlessly clean. There are 3 sinks in the outdoor area with hot water supply, electricity has cost 3.50 euros for 5 years and not 4 euros and is always stable even when using various electrical appliances such as hotplates, electric grills, cool boxes and various fairy lights. Because motorhome drivers don't want to drive the few 5 km to the nearest village of Platania every day to go shopping, the campsite operator, who is very friendly and accommodating to her guests, offers a market service. They always ask if you would like to bring something with you. In addition, a vegetable cart comes almost daily, which you can't miss even if you're on the beach. The minimarket with everything you need and the taverna open from July 1st until mid-September. There is also a taverna right next door, which is open all year round and serves very nice, informal food. The nearest petrol station is no more than 10 km away - about 15 minutes by car - in the village of Promiri. There are also supermarkets there, as in Platania. The towing of caravans, which is only necessary if you don't have the confidence to drive back to the main road yourself due to the winding route uphill through the olive grove, is always free of charge. The journey to this paradisiacal place only takes an hour and a half from Volos and is definitely worth it.

The campsite is located in a beautiful bay with a sandy and pebble beach. The pitches are separated from the beach by an unpaved, dusty access road to a vacation complex. The pitches in the front row have no shade. Approx. 20 pitches are suitable for motorhomes and camper vans, the rest are tent pitches.... The campsite was built in the 1970s and has not been modernized since. There is no disposal station for chemical toilets. Water comes out everywhere in the showers except at the shower head. The locks on the showers and toilets are so worn out that some of the doors can no longer be opened and have to be opened from the outside by staff using a master key. The sanitary facilities are not particularly clean. Cleaning is very superficial. Washing facilities only with cold water. There is only one dishwashing sink outside. The power connections are so poorly protected that you can't run a 500 W hotplate and a 100 W fridge at the same time, although you have to pay €4.00 a day for the electricity. During the opening hours of the restaurant, an exhaust system was running and made a very loud noise throughout the campsite. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The gnarled chairs described in the Müller travel guide have already been replaced by plastic chairs. The mini market is not very big and the offer is limited to bread, drinks and cigarettes, a bit too expensive. A pity as the nearest mini-market or petrol station is about 45 minutes' drive away. In August (2010) a pitch for 2 people with car, caravan and electricity costs €26.00. Simply too expensive for modesty. Access to the campsite is via a very steep, winding, narrow tarred road. Driving down is no problem with caravans. The return journey is not recommended with caravans, as you have to stop in oncoming traffic and start off with a slipping clutch. There is a charge of €80 for towing the caravan about 2 km uphill. The campsite is ideal for campers who are not too demanding. There are numerous boats moored in the bay whose owners can be found in the nearby vacation complex and private houses. The campsite is run by a very unfriendly German woman who complains about the dwindling number of visitors. No wonder.
