"Nice little place - Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of August. We visited Gothenburg from here by public bus, works great. Approx. 20 min drive to the city center. The site is small, but somehow charming. Right by the river with some large trees. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Sanitary facilities functional, could be a bit cleaner.

"A good stop when passing through - Location directly on the lake, very friendly and helpful staff. Relatively narrow entrance, can only be entered with caution with a large trailer. The toilets are old but clean. Efforts are being made to improve, as indicated in a letter. The ownership situation prevents change. Gray water can simply be disposed of with the chemical toilets, I don't know why there was a fuss about this.

"Poor sanitary facilities - We stayed at the site for one night with our motorhome in July 2019. We were bothered by the extremely dirty showers, the water didn't run out in one of the women's showers. There is also no gray water disposal. We were sent to a quick stop, but its waste water tank would only have fit under a truck.

" - Small, cute campsite. When we arrived there was no one there from the campsite staff. The other campers said we should drive up and pay later. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the sanitary facilities because we didn't have a key. When nobody from the staff was there at 8:00 the next morning, we drove off. We felt it was too unsafe to leave money at reception for the night. None of the other campers were awake yet.

Προφίλ

When you stay at our cozy camp site you have just as close to the pulsating big city life in Gothenburg as you have to the screaming seaguls and salty sea-bathing along the west coast. Just a few hundred meters …from the hostel you will find the bus stop "Eriksdal" where you take "Grön Express" (Green Express) to Gothenburg. The town center can be reached in fifteen minutes and if you want you to go straight to the amusementpark Liseberg it takes about 35 minutes. Our popular quick stop located at the marina is open from June 25th to August 31st. This camp offers an easier standard and are therefore a cheaper alternative. Details • Central location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance • Large flat gravel without place markers • Access to showers and toilets • Allows you to clear fixed tanks and leave household waste • 100 meters to the front desk and tourist information (Våghals Tourist Centre) • Beautiful location next to the river Nordre Älv with a view towards Bohus Fortress

Κατευθύνσεις

Coming from south Go north on the E6 through Gothenburg towards Oslo. Take off at the first exit to Kungälv. It is called Jordfallsmotet – Kungälv S. Drive straight forward and you will pass a gas station on your right …hand side and drive over a small bridge. Just after the bridge you enter the old part of the town Kungälv. The hostel is the first house you see on your left hand side. It is a large yellow house, situated just across the road from the old medieval castle Bohus Fortress. Coming from north Drive south on the E6 towards Gothenburg. Take off at the exit called “Kungälv S” just after the bridge. Turn left towards Bohus and soon you will reach a rondabout. Turn left towards the centre (Centrum) and Bohus Fästning (the fortress). You will pass a gas station on your right hand side and drive over a small bridge. Just after the bridge you enter the old part of the town Kungälv. The hostel is the first house you see on your left hand side. It is a large yellow house, situated just across the road from the old medieval castle Bohus Fortress. Public transportations The bus line Grön Express (Green Express) starts at the bus terminal “Brunnsparken” and you get off at the bus stop “Eriksdal”. The trip takes about 20 minutes. During evenings and weekends the leave once or twice an hour depending on when you wish to go.
