Fresh water and waste disposal very far away as well as the wash house
Small campsite right on the fjord just before the ferry to Bergen
Reception was ok.
Pitches partly at the wash house and directly on the busy road (gravel surface and not very attractive) or far away from the sanitary building with a direct view of the fjord, then also long distances to fresh water and gray water disposal (gravel pitches with grass forecourt).
Sanitary... facilities old but clean.
Shower, electricity and free WLAN included in the price.
The site clearly scores with its beautiful location directly on the fjord.
If you are sensitive, you may be bothered by the traffic noise from the nearby road. Nevertheless, we had a great night's sleep.

Good stopover between Bergen and Stavanger. Clean sanitary facilities. WLAN
4-person cabins (without bathroom)
We arrived in the evening as we were passing through and were warmly welcomed by the lady (formerly from Germany). We booked (6 of us) two 4-person cabins without bathrooms (NOK 550 each). The cabins were somewhat outdated, but they had their charm. The cabins were furnished with 2 bunk beds, a table... and 4 chairs, a small hotplate and a sink with cold water. The public sanitary facilities were in very good condition and clean. It was possible to park our motorcycle right next to the hut. WLAN was available free of charge. An ideal stopover for our transit between Bergen and Stavanger. I can't say anything about recreational opportunities for multiple accommodations.

Nothing for anglers, no boat rental and no fishing opportunities from the shore! Unfriendly!
Not for anglers! Caution!
We drove to this campsite with our motorhome because of the campsite's homepage, as we were looking for facilities with boat rental and fishing opportunities. The fact that there are boats was confirmed to us in a phone call and there are "current catch reports" on the homepage. However, the boat rental... no longer exists and the only fishing opportunity in the fjord from the shore is a small jetty, which has already been fished by local anglers (no more room for us). When we wanted to check out again, as we had only come to fish, we were even called stupid names, insulted and treated really rudely, even though our reasons were obvious! They didn't even apologize that we drove there for nothing, took the ferry for nothing and were lied to on the phone that there was a boat rental. In addition, the campsite is very small, located on the road and offers no other options to occupy yourself. A total failure and definitely not a camp for anglers!

We are now in Norway for the 12th year in a row to spend our annual vacation. This place is not recommended. Place directly on the road, therefore loud and disturbing. The site operator is unfriendly and barely visible, boats can no longer be rented, fishing is very limited as you only have the option... of fishing from the jetty if the jetty is open and has not been raised like ours. All in all, this place is really only suitable for overnight stays and you should then move on quickly.

The campsite is located on a busy road, which is particularly annoying in the morning. Our cabin was small, but clean and well equipped. The sanitary facilities are okay. The bread roll service is a nice gesture. The owners are a bit strict and seemingly not very hospitable - you are immediately told... about various rules. You can't lump all guests together, even if you've had a bad experience. The fishing, boat hire and fish processing facilities are really good.

Cabin with a beautiful view, enough space for 2 people, with more people it gets cramped. Sanitary facilities were clean. There was a small kitchenette and a sink in the hut. What we didn't like: on arrival we first had to clean all surfaces of pollen dust and air them out, ants were running across the... floor and table. As we arrived at the end of April, we were probably the first occupants this year, but for the price you should still be able to expect a decent cabin.

We rented a cabin that was equipped with the essentials. The store doesn't have much to offer, campsite relatively noisy right next to the E 39. Good for staying overnight and moving on
