Maybe it was the time of year.Great and beautiful campsiteSuper nice large campsite with lots to keep the children and adults busy. Especially the pony rides were great. Carmen was warm and welcoming to the children. Just as much praise for the archery! Super cool guy who explained everything so well and it was really fun.
The sanitary facilities were super clean and tidy!

As we wanted to go away at the beginning of October, we were looking for a campsite for children with indoor play facilities. The Mohrenhof offers this with its play barn. Unfortunately, this is completely unsuitable for children under the age... of 4/5, which is why we were only able to spend a short time there.
The large playground by the lake also only has a baby swing for the little ones, but that was it.
The alpacas and ponies are cute, but as you can only spend 1 hour a day with the animals for free, the activities here are also limited. Of course, breaks are also important for the animals!

The site makes a tidy and well-kept impression. The registration and also
check-out is totally uncomplicated. One positive thing that stands out is the good atmosphere on the whole site. Many families with happy... children characterize the picture. I really like that. Also the friendliness of the staff. However, the pitches are far too small for a campsite of this category. 50-60 square meters is simply not enough. You stand caravan to caravan. The water taps are impractical and sometimes very basic. The toilets/showers are clean at first glance, but only very superficially cleaned in the corners. And that in the low season. The showers are spacious and you had hot water even late at night. Top! The lighting on the paths is clearly insufficient, which is not without danger at night. There is no store where you can eat during the day. Bread roll service only from 8-10 am. What a pity. A great place for families. Too expensive and not comfortable enough for couples. But because of the friendliness and the loving design, I give it 4 stars. Actually more like 3 stars. We won't be coming back. The first impression was good, but over the course of our stay this impression got worse and worse.
With almost full occupancy, the toilets were constantly filthy, everything was missing! The poor cleaning staff couldn't keep up with the cleaning at... all.
I would have liked a seat in the showers!
The bread rolls were far too expensive at 90 cents for a "simple" roll. In addition, there was probably poor coordination between the shop and the bread roll counter. The store was closed, the rolls were being handed out and the customers were standing in front of the closed store in the pouring rain, wanting to pick up their rolls and not knowing what was going on. A note on the door would have clarified the situation.
We had 4 days of construction noise during the day and 4 days of noise from drinking bouts and children running around and screaming until late at night.
Many campers also arrived late into the night - that's not acceptable! The night's sleep was disturbed.
And then there was the top:
The offer was €9 per person and after paying we noticed that we had been charged 90 cents more per person. Without giving any reason for this - THAT is not acceptable.
Conclusion for us: Never again Mohrenhof! The Mohrenhof is beautifully laid out and the sanitary building is second to none. Unfortunately, we were there at the end of the season, so we couldn't enjoy some of the highlights on site. Perhaps there will be an opportunity to do so soon (depending on the dates).

The campsite was quite empty during our stay and yet the cleanliness of the toilets was really not the best. Everything is so nicely decorated that you should pay more attention to it. Many small children run to the toilet on their own and it goes without saying that it doesn't stay clean.

Electricity, water and fire pits directly at the site (campfire sites) were really great. The walk to the well-designed sanitary facilities was also short. Drinks and beer were even available in the trust fund.ΑρνητικάThe "shop" is only open twice a day for a few hours. On the day we arrived we were only there after 5pm and stood in front of a locked door, unfortunately no indication at check-in. We were not allowed to bring wood for the fire bowl, it is only available in the store for over €10. Unfortunately, there was nothing left for the kids in the evening. From September only open in the mornings. Unfortunately, there was also a very limited selection of products, which you are used to at other campsites. There was only one (1) shower at the bathing pond, and it was broken, no push button installed. You have to register online in advance for the wake park, places are quickly taken and you have to be lucky to get something. Waste disposal area confusing, dirty and untidy and only at one end of the site with a long walkway.A huge adventure paradise for the familySuper campsite with lots of activities and attractions. Danger of accidents!Very nice weekendwe were OMA and OPA with our grandchildren 3+5 years on site. we had an overall great weekend with wonderful weather and great offers. for small children the offer is still limited, but from 6 years it gets much better and from 8 years the whole thing becomes an adventure event. the place is super clean... and well maintained and very lovingly and lovingly laid out. we were on the Mittedrinplatz and were really in the middle, short distances to the sanitary facilities (very clean and appealing), to the playground and to the restaurant.
There were too many vehicles on the site for my taste, maybe create a parking lot for towing vehicles outside.
