You can come relatively spontaneously in winter. The service is nice, but we had to pay extra for our scooter - we don't know why. The pitches are small

A pretty nice place
We have been there in the pre-season and we were the only people there. So it was really quiet. The camp is clean and there are stone-tables and benches at each place. The camp is good for doing some hiking, the Camino del rey, to see El Torcal or just enjoy the nature. Here you can find the camp: http://www.parqueardales.com/... The guy at the reception was not speaking english very well, but it is enough for check-in. The bad thing at the Camp is: sometimes there are the trees right in the middle of the parcels. So if you are there with a bigger tent it could be a problem.

I don't know, maybe the many locals who come at the weekend and leave a lot of garbage behind, but it is collected very quickly
Great place to relax
I was here in May in the pre-season. It's a site in a nature park in the forest. There were no mosquitoes at that time, but I don't know what it's like otherwise. The campsite is on a beautiful lake with its own access and jetty. We moored our kayak there. There are about 20 pitches for caravans / camper... vans, all with electricity (as are all the tent pitches). There are three sanitary blocks, very clean! Hot water no problem. Disposal of camper vans also no problem via a separate site. The paths within the campsite are forest paths !!!, no asphalted or paved paths. There is a small bar and a small but well-stocked supermarket on the site. The daily bread can be ordered and picked up the next day. Sometimes it was still warm for us, delicious. The site is ideal for wonderful hikes, with the chance of seeing eagles. The lake is clean. We were the only boat on the lake. Motorboats are prohibited (drinking water reservoir for Málaga). Boat rental in the immediate vicinity, as well as two nice restaurants. The way to the campsite is via a somewhat bumpy road, so don't be put off. It is worth it.
