Irene V.December 2018ΘετικάGood location and open all year roundΑρνητικάNoneEtaws outside of Evora, you have to be a good walker to get into townA good starting point for a visit to Evora, if you are not afraid of the 3km into town. However, there is a poor cycle path towards the town. The range of products in the store is very limited, but you can order bread or rolls for the next day. The sanitary facilities are Portugal standard and very clean.... The pitches are large. There is a practical supply and disposal facility for motorhomes. The staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the campsite is a little outside of Evora. One sanitary building was renovated, but the rest were in an acceptable condition for Portugal. It was just a dirty, dusty space with very little shade, and the bathrooms were not particularly modern or nice. We paid nearly 30E for 2 people and 2dogs, so expected better facilities and service. Disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every effort is made to keep the pitch clean. Bread roll service must be booked the evening before. However, a bakery is within walking distance. The wifi was... often disturbed. The pool was very good. The city bus (1,30€) leaves in front of the campsite. The timetable and city map are available at reception. Pitches are partly parceled out and partly shady. We extended our stay by one night because we liked the site. The wash blocks and sanitary facilities could do with a thorough clean as well as updating and modernising, as could the site in general. Staff could be more helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We found the food and service to be of a fairly poor standard.

Andreas O.June 2010Nice little place with friendly staff. Unfortunately there is very little shade. The sanitary facilities were still in order. The location of the campsite is ideal for a visit to the city center, which is about 2km away. A cycle path runs from the campsite to the city center.
