Very friendly staff, professional reception (camping matters)ΑρνητικάIn bad weather and low season, depending on the pitch, the site is somewhat shady and therefore rather cool, which is an advantage in summer. The region has little to offer in the way of alternative programs (bad weather and with children). The staff at reception hardly know anything about what is on offer in the region, which is a shame. Depending on the volume of traffic, the road is very audible.Beautiful, family-friendly campsiteTop address for a stay before or after the hustle and bustle of the season. Ideally located for exploring the long beach. Wonderfully beautiful paths lead along the beach, ideal for walking or cycling to other beach bars.
In the season it is probably quite crowded, as you can see from the thousands of umbrellas lined up along the beach. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away. The beach is beautiful by Italian standards, especially if you like sandy beaches.
Despite the high season, the beach was not... overcrowded.
The sanitary facilities at the campsite are fine, they are normally cleaned every 1-2 days in the late afternoon. It is clear that the facilities are not always completely clean, but that didn't bother me.
Marina di Ravenna is less than 10 minutes away by bike, where you have more and better restaurants to choose from.
Conclusion: a campsite worth recommending if you are traveling in the area. Good prices.ΑρνητικάNONE.A successful vacation, we will be back.The site is beautifully situated, the pine forest is ideal for providing shade for the campers. The staff are very helpful and super friendly. The beach is a short walk (7 min) along a busy road. There is always a nice spot to be found on the free beach and you don't have to lie close together. The store... on the campsite is not very big, if you want to do some shopping you can go by bike or car to Marina de Ravenna, which is about 2 km away. Beautiful walks are possible in the adjacent pine forest. The evening entertainment for children and adults is quite good, but mainly Italian. The sanitary facilities are quite good, nothing special, but clean. We particularly appreciated the site when we were on a typical German site on our return journey. - Alexandr B.July 2013We had nine days of vacation, very satisfied, the staff of the campground is very cordial and hospitable, helped in all matters (from household to recommendations about interesting places in the area). Many thanks to the woman from the administration who knew Russian (unfortunately I don't remember her... name). The camping store had a good range of food, but much more expensive than in Raven. We bought most of our food in Lidl or Coop and cooked it ourselves. We did not eat much in the camping restaurant, there were only croissants in the morning and pizza in the evening, but the range of pizzas was quite large and tasty. Sanitary facilities were cleaned and always clean, there are old and new facilities but everywhere was neat and clean. Many thanks to the animators !!!! Maximilian and company, hi!!! They kept the kids and adults entertained all day long. Aerobics in the morning on the beach (twice), archery, table tennis, learning to dance, disco, theatrical productions of miniatures and other, these guys were able to do everything. Huge sandy beach and not deep sea, well suited for vacation with children, the only disadvantage - between the camping and the beach road, but quickly get used to it, and it does not strain. Quite loud sounds make crickets, perhaps they had a mating period, I heard similar sounds in the jungles of Thailand, it gave the situation a special romanticism. Almost the whole territory of the camping is in the shade under the crowns of huge trees, but I want to warn - from some trees drips clear resinous liquid, be sure to take with you an awning for the car, can really help to protect your car. The trailer is clean, the area is wooded so you do not feel the heat. Sanitary facilities clean and no problem with access (no queues). Well-stocked store, you can buy food and other things such as a mattress, toys for the child or camping equipment. The staff at the campsite speak very good German (we can't speak Italian). The quiet times are very strictly observed. The beach is ideal for families, you can walk far... out into the sea. Walter O.June 2012Large campsite and nicely laid out, good sanitary facilities, unfortunately no private beach section, when visiting the beach that belongs to a hotel, 20 euros are charged, the campsite restaurant is highly recommended, the small supermarket has everything and is cheap. Every arriving camper is driven around the site in a golf cart to find a suitable pitch. The beach, which is about 100 meters across the road from the campsite entrance, is typically divided into rental pitches and "wild" pitches to the right and... left. The sea gets deep relatively quickly (considered for small children). The supermarket on the campsite is large and has everything you need, including a meat counter etc. The staff at the campsite and supermarket are very friendly and help immediately with any problems or questions. The sanitary facilities are not bad, but there are older and newer facilities on the site. The campsite is quiet at lunchtime and also at night, after the daily entertainment at the bar. There is a large pine forest behind the campsite, very nice for a walk into the small town. For those who don't speak Italian: only some of the campsite staff speak German, but you can get by in the area with English.
