Bathers walk through the square!
Wonderful campsite on the Baltic Sea
Very nice, well-kept place directly (50 meters) to the sandy beach on the Baltic Sea. You can hike in a natural reserve next to the site. Very clean sanitary facilities, perhaps a little too small when the place is full, the staff is very friendly. We stayed on the site for a few days, the peace and... quiet is heavenly, pure relaxation. Washing facilities and dryer are available, but cost extra. There are shopping facilities in Skutskär. Accessible by bike via a wonderful forest path. Skutskär has nothing else to offer. It is annoying that bathers walk through the campsite and also young people partying on the beach.

Wonderfully quiet campsite in a fantastic location
Update 2017 We have been going to this place every year since 2011. It's simply beautiful there, wonderful beaches, peace and quiet and pure relaxation. The sanitary facilities have now been renovated and are in good order. There is a dog beach at the mouth of the river (dogs are not allowed directly... in front of the campsite), or the nudist beach on the other side, where dogs are not a problem. The restaurant and kiosk have been extensively renovated and offer everything your heart desires. In summer there are also regular music events and a children's program. Saunas have also been added, but these are "very central" and public... Overall a very nice campsite. The Furuvik leisure and animal park is just 20 km away (dogs are even allowed here!!). ++++++ Rating from 2011: Rullsand Camping is located directly on the central Swedish Riviera in a nature reserve. Under new management since 2011, the kiosk and restaurant were renovated at the beginning of 2011 and are highly recommended, the sanitary facilities will be renovated at the end of 2011. We were completely satisfied and are booking again for 2012. Great sandy beach right next to the campsite, ideal for children as the water is shallow. If you walk approx. 10 min. nudist beach. Gävle with all shopping facilities about 10 minutes away by car. If you are looking for peace, nature and a wonderful beach, this is the place for you. In 2011 new, great camping cabins were built (we had a look at one).
