"The most beautiful campsite next to Gudenåen - I highly recommend Skyttehusets Camping! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The campsite is fantastically located in the middle of nature with a view of Svejbæksnævringen, where you can watch the Hjejle boats sail past - an experience in itself! The facilities are top notch, from the cozy playgrounds to the well-maintained service houses. We rented bikes and explored the beautiful forest trails around the site, and a boat trip on the Gudenå River was the icing on the cake. The campsite café serves delicious food and it was a delight to start the day with bread from their shop. Everything has been thought of, and the combination of nature, activities and good service makes Skyttehusets Camping one of the best camping experiences I've had. We will definitely come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Fantastic location in beautiful nature - This campsite really is an insider tip! We spent 10 days here over Easter with our two teenagers and caravan. We stayed on one of the viewing pitches, which are nice and large (ideal for our 7.5m caravan) and offer a wonderful view of the lake. The campsite is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, especially forests and lakes. Wonderful for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating or just relaxing. We were able to watch deer, herons, green woodpeckers and kingfishers from the campsite! There are plenty of activities for young and old on the campsite, such as mini golf, table tennis, outdoor games, various boats to hire or playing in the playground. The sanitary facilities are clean, functional and sufficient. The shower is controlled by a card, but there is no overall time limit. There are some showers with hand showers, ideal for girls with long hair or children. There is a mini-shop on site with the essentials and a small café, which offers delicious cakes and coffee as well as small snacks. The owners, Tina and Torben, are very welcoming and always took the time to answer our questions. We felt completely at home here and can highly recommend this campsite!

"Fantastic location - At this campsite you really are in the middle of nature. There are lots of hiking opportunities in the forest and by the water, directly from the campsite. The campsite is very well maintained and very clean. The operators are very nice, but also very enterprising. With 2 people, 2 dogs and a pitch for the camper van with a good view (highly recommended), you can expect to pay over €50 per night.

"A disappointment - Was at Skyttehuset about 5 years ago when the old couple had the space, so when we had to vacation in Denmark again this year, the choice fell on Skyttehuset but it was a disappointment, knowing that new owner new initiatives BUT it was a big disappointment. The reception itself was poor, the service in the cafeteria was poor,

"Super nice campsite for families with children - We (family with two small children) stayed at the site for two nights in our VW California. Sensational location directly on a lake. Super quiet for a long time, no noise from permanent campers on the site. Sanitary facilities very clean and super nice operators. A clear recommendation from us, we will definitely be back.
