Manuela B.September 2024ΘετικάWe received a friendly and uncomplicated welcome. We arrived at 7.45 pm without a reservation and were given a nice, spacious caravan site. At less than 30 euros a night for 2 people and a dog, the price was quite ok. The dog was very welcome and was also allowed in the restaurant for dinner. The site was well maintained and beautifully situated in the countryside.ΑρνητικάThe sanitary facilities are very outdated but quite ok for a few days. No luxury. Road and train audible. But again, not too bad for a few days.Nice little campsiteGreat place for passing through. Very close to the highway. In the restaurant you can eat well although the menu is not very extensive. Every now and then a train passes by,but is not annoying. In the vicinity are beautiful walks,... Hann-Munden is also worth a visit. Cycling is also fine on the old railroad connections. The Dutch owners do their best to make everyone comfortable. A dream location for canoeists. Unfortunately, the potential is not realized. The grass resembles a harvested hay field, the sanitary facilities reflect an amateurish renovation. The sanitary facilities are in urgent need of professional renovation. Gray water can only be disposed of at the disposal... point by placing a bucket underneath, there is no floor inlet.
Too much rotten wood has been used in the inn/beer garden. It would be better to do without the wood, then the terrace could also be cleaned.

The pitches are generously laid out on a flat meadow area where you can really feel at home.
The fact that you have to cross the little-used road to get to the reception and the sanitary buildings is not a problem.... However, a sign for motorists or a speed limit would be appropriate. A mirror in the direction of the bus stop might also be advisable. The toilets and showers were always clean. However, the nozzles of the attached shower heads were a disaster. You have to jump back and forth to get all parts of your body sufficiently wet.
The area around the main building was generally very untidy and unkempt. We also found the beer garden uninviting and therefore avoided it.

Münden, then this is the place for you.
We don't use any sanitary facilities on the pitches (since Corona), so I can't say anything about them, in general the buildings etc. are obviously relatively old....
With a motorhome over the weekend, it's not a problem that the water points are rare, you can fill up once beforehand (in front of the sanitary building).
What we like is that we could always stand by the water and the pitch is relatively natural, as if you were standing somewhere by the water, not parceled out with a circle.
A frikandel special rounds off the day.
The trains are actually extremely loud (the further back you stand). If you want, you can order bread rolls every day and have dinner outside or inside in the adjacent restaurant.
You can also book a room or cabins on the campsite.
