We arrived after the reception opened and were able to pick up our access card and shower tokens at the kiosk in the parking lot. The kiosk is great, camping guests of the Spreecamp can pick up bread rolls in advance and buy a fresh coffee or a cold beer as well as all kinds of snacks (cold cuts, fried eggs, bockwurst, bratwurst) at any time. The owner is very friendly and courteous and stays open until 8pm, even in the off-season. Great service, great guy, the rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Nice quiet campsite
The campsite was very quiet in September 2020 and ideal for taking a breather on a multi-day cycle tour.
We arrived after reception opening hours and were able to pick up the access card and shower tokens flexibly at the kiosk in the parking lot.
The kiosk is great, camping guests of the Spreecamp can... pick up bread rolls here on advance order and buy a fresh coffee or a cold beer as well as all kinds of snacks (cold cuts, fried eggs, bockwurst, bratwurst) at any time. The owner is very friendly and courteous and stays open until 8pm, even in the off-season.
Great service, great guy, the rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful.

We stayed on the site for the weekend in mid-September 2020 and were satisfied as always. Friendly welcome, fresh bread rolls every morning from the very friendly operator of the kiosk in the parking lot. Torsten is also open in the evening, you can have a beer and a small snack. He is also open to new ideas. We told him about a special alcoholic dessert which he immediately served us and curiously tried for himself. Just ask for Pillkaller🤣 (Attention! Not for vegetarians 🤣) All in all, everything was great, always happy to return!

To keep the Spreewald running in the dry season, water is let out of the reservoir again and again, so swimming is only possible to a limited extent, but not impossible as described by others

Insider tip. Go to Torsten's kiosk in the parking lot in the evening. Delicious beers with Pillkaller, listen to music and if the mood is right, he'll even shake a leg with the guest 🤣👍

We rented a bungalow in August 2020 and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well equipped it was. The location of the campsite between Spremberg and Cottbus allows for many beautiful excursions in the surrounding area.

No swimming possible as the dam is not full and has apparently been drained repeatedly over several years. So it was not possible to go swimming and we had to switch to the surrounding lakes. The campsite operator was in denial when we asked him about it. This is how tourists are lured here, under false pretenses.
Camping site okay, no swimming possible
Tourists are lured to the campsite under false pretenses. All the pictures show the fantastic sandy beach with water. But it is not pointed out that swimming is not possible on site. You can only dip your big toe in the water from the jetty. If you want to go into the water anyway, you first have to wade across the beach, dry shore and then mud. It's simply disgusting!!!

Time has stood still a little here, with everything.
But we still felt very much at home here, in a spot very close to the lake. The sunsets were impressive.

Direkt am Strand FKK Möglichkeit direkt nebenan und sehr ruhig gelegen
Besuch zu Pfingsten
Waren nach Pfingsten 2019 für 11 Tage aus Bayern hier auf Besuch konnten uns nicht beklagen Kiosk auch nach 18 30 noch offen einmal saßen wir bis knapp 22 Uhr draussen Sanitäre Anlage auch voll ok werden jeden Tag um 6 Uhr in der früh gründlich gereinigt und wenn man selbstversorger ist muss man halt... mal ein paar Kilometer fahren und einkaufen was man braucht Der Kiosk Betreiber ist überhaupt nicht unfreundlich macht alles zum Wohl seiner Gäste haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und gab keinen Grund zur Beanstandung

Really great for our family.
The campsite is really great for families with children. It's not for nothing that we've been spending our free time here for 10 years. Of course, there is no luxury here and it is not ultra-modern. Here you can enjoy camping in nature. And it's the way camping should be. And yet there is still the comfort... of camping. In our years here we have met many people who share this opinion. Dear campers, don't believe the recession of the two ladies Claudia and Monika about the supply on the site. These two opinions are not about the campsite, but are on behalf of a certain gentleman and the former kiosk in the parking lot in front of the campsite. Of course there is only one snack bar on the site. And if it closes at 6:30 pm, the operator has been open longer than the previous one. The snack bar is ok, and the operator always has an open ear for the campers. Just talk to him and he makes a lot of things possible. Nobody was bullied off the site either, but the gentleman in question should deal with his landlord/lessor. And if the campsite and the snack bar operator continue to be maligned here, I will not allow it and will then name specific names and state the facts. It's not always the way many people would like it to be, but grumbling and complaining is not the solution. Then please raise any problems with the staff or directly with the manager.

Very poor basic supply
It gets worse from year to year
It was nicer 3 years ago. You could socialize in the evening with a nice beer at the kiosk until late and you didn't have to go hungry, but now you're here and can't get anything after 6pm. The opening hours (blue store) of the beer garden are catastrophic, so you can scare away vacationers more and more every year.

Lousy supply although there are people there who would also open in the evening!
I have been a guest at the Spreecamp since 1972
The place was once highly recommended! It has been a disaster for 4 years now! There were many people there who tried to make it nice for vacationers and permanent campers. Since the last years good people were taken out for the supply and the whole supply was given into one hand. Unfortunately, I have... to realize that this person has no interest in taking care of the holidaymakers properly, he comes and goes as he pleases and does not adhere to any opening hours. In the evening you can't even sit with friends and have a beer. At the moment, everything is usually closed from 4 pm. THE SERVICE IS THEREFORE WORSE THAN POOR (GRADE 6) !!!!!

getting on in years... Almost only permanent campers
Klein Döbbern campsite - rather less recommendable
were here in the summer of 2013 because we were probably tempted by the playground. The campsite is very outdated and has too few tourist pitches for camper vans. We were placed right behind the "Platzhirsch - Dauercamper" .... had one advantage... we no longer needed a radio (even in the evening)....... I've never experienced anything like it.... The sanitary facilities were OK, but "shower curtain"...?! is not possible... but always clean... Shopping and breakfast rolls were about 5 minutes away by bike. But what annoyed me most was that we had to vacate the 2nd (fully paid) pitch after our friends left, as it had been allocated twice... without refunding money.... as I said, I think a total of 4 pitches for larger caravans, the rest of the campsite are permanent campers...and the central "Platzhirsch" is very special...:-(

Unfortunately, the square is getting on in years. It still has the "beautiful" GDR charm. Unfortunately, the reservoir was drained quite badly during our stay. Swimming was then only possible with great difficulty. Unfortunately, the campsite on the Klein Döbbern side is more attractive but there are... no suitable pitches. It is very quiet and you need a car or at least a bike for any kind of excursion. It is annoying that the entrance and exit to the site is not possible from 13-15 and 23-5 o'clock (barrier closed) The sanitary facilities have not been cleaned at all over the weekend.

The site is really beautifully laid out, the beach and playground are well maintained and it's really nice for children. Only the sanitary facilities really need improvement, also in terms of cleanliness. Well, we were there at Whitsun, when it was really busy, but it still needs to be cleaned more often and toilet paper refilled.
