Unfortunately, we didn't notice when we entered that the site didn't accept tents. Even at check-in, due to a miscommunication, we didn't realize that we were staying in a tent. At 11:00 pm we were suddenly rudely... awoken by the owner and a member of staff and expelled from the site with wild insults. There was no discussion whatsoever.
Fortunately, we were given a friendly welcome at the second campsite in Inverness, which was not far away.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Few washing and shower facilities No separate washbasins Dog costs extra, without additional services (waste garbage can for poop bags, shower facilities etc.)Conveniently located but simpleCommercially run, lovelessly organized and managed. Above all, there is no barrier for the night's rest. Overnight stay ok, but don't forget your earplugs.

For a longer stay I would choose a different site. The site is easy to reach from outside, as it is located on a main road and on the edge of the town. The pitches are grass pitches, so may be soft if it rains a lot. You... can walk along the river to Inverness. Shopping at the CP is not possible, so you have to drive into the village about 2 km to a Coop or by car to Lidl or Aldi.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

As it's right on the Canelonian Canal, it's easy to walk with dogs. Apart from the beeping of the canal bridge, a quiet site. There are plenty of facilities and they are clean. Very well located for visiting Inverness and the surrounding area. A little expensive... at 29GBP. (There is another site nearby which would have only cost 20GBP.
