Overall a lovely campsite, especially for families with children. Mobile homes dominate, there are few pitches for campers, but these are huge and nicely parceled out, each surrounded by large hedges. The pool is lovely and there is a great water park for younger children.

The sanitary facilities are mediocre. The taps splashed, it was dark, once there was only cold water. The water in the dishwashing sinks was always cold in the evening.

The pool is lovely and there is a great water park for younger children. However, the sanitary facilities... are mediocre. It is therefore completely incomprehensible that the ADAC rates the sanitary facilities with 4.5 stars. The taps splashed, it was dark and once there was only cold water. The water in the dishwashing sinks was always cold in the evening. 3 stars would be appropriate for the sanitary area.
Beautiful view of the Luberon. Good starting point for excursions to the Luberon, to the ochre quarries near Roussillon, to Aix-en-Provence, Salon-de-Provence and Marseille.

Very friendly staff at the reception, in the pre-season (departure 8.7.) with 30 € for a parking space also relatively cheap, the place Charleval does not offer very much, only a restaurant was open in the evening as an alternative to the restaurant on the square. WLAN available throughout the site.

Beautiful campsite with a fantastic view
The site is located just outside the town of Charleval, between two canals of the Durance. The reception was super friendly and accommodating. Several ladies speak German and were always eager to answer our various queries. It couldn't have been better! The different plots are large and generally separated... by hedges. However, due to the slight slope and very narrow access roads, it is not always easy to "park" the caravan on the pitch. I found the number of shower cubicles in the sanitary facilities a little small, but the cubicles were very large. The sinks were also too few and too small. The location of the campsite, especially the restaurant and the outdoor pool area with a view of the Luberon, is brilliant. Hence my recommendation for dinner, the cuisine (including pizza) is highly recommended. Here too, as well as at the bar, the service can only be rated as very good. You can get everything you need at the mini market on site. The supermarket in Mallemort is ideal for larger purchases. The campsite offered the usual entertainment program in the evening (karaoke, band, etc.). However, the accompanying sound always ended at 23:00. The campsite is ideal for children, just about right for teenagers (I think), especially as Charleval doesn't have much to offer. The campsite is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Luberon and Provence.

Very nice campsite, nice operators, pool area sufficient, the rental accommodations are well frequented by French families, unfortunately the road is within earshot, but is not very busy. Recommendable !
