"Surprisingly beautiful campsite - We were pleasantly surprised by the campsite. A very nice, unparceled site overall. The guest has free choice of pitch. The reception is professional and friendly. The sanitary building is not the newest but always extremely clean. Tip: The most beautiful pitches are behind the dyke by a river and cannot be seen at first glance. There is also a cute little bathing area there. There are more bathing opportunities in the village at Lake Bandak. However, this is a short walk. The unparceled pitches on the large meadow are also very nice. All in all, a great atmosphere throughout the campsite, which we can highly recommend.

"Top place to relax - We stayed on the site for one night with our motorhome. Very nice location on a small island and surrounded by two rivers directly on the fjord. The site consists partly of a large meadow and partly between trees. The sanitary facilities are a dream in terms of size and cleanliness. Fast and free WiFi and showers don't cost extra. A clear recommendation from us. The owner speaks German and is super nice and helpful. A TOP recommendation from us!

"Space with charm - The staff are friendly and also speak German, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but very clean. There is a washing machine and dryer. The price of approx. 25 € for motorhome, 2 persons, shower etc. is ok.

"Clean, beautifully situated place - We stayed here for three days in June with our motorhome and motorcycles. The site is beautifully situated, everything is very well maintained, the operators are very friendly and speak German. Sanitary always clean. Surroundings and place itself very nice. Price not cheap but ok for Norway.

Perfil

In the small town Dalen we started a campsite with great success. Here we do everything in our power to satisfy our guests. We have always gone camping ourselves and have gained a lot of experience on how a campsite …should be. Good sanitary conditions and a clean area are important to us. We want our campsite to be pleasant, with a good relationship between the guests and us. During the season there are a lot of families with small children, something which gives the campsite a friendly and lively atmosphere. The campsite is grass-grown, relatively flat and about 7 hectares. Here you can stay wherever you like: sheltered, in the sun, by the river or if you have children, close to a playground. There are power outlets almost all over the area (16A). We have five nicely decorated cabins in different sizes. All are equipped with water and electricity. For shorter stays there is the "Beaver-house", with 16 rooms and a shared living-room/ kitchen/bathroom. In the main building you will find a well-equipped reception with all the information about the area and a small shop. In the shop you can buy fresh rolls in the mornings. The camping-site: The camping-site is situated on a small island surrounded by a big river where you can catch good eatable fish. Don´t be surprised when a beaver shows up in front of your tent!! Normally you can see them on one particular spot but sometimes they feel secure enough to swim around the entire island. Not only beavers can be spotted near the camping-site but also dears can be present, especially in the morning when only the birds are awake. Now and then even an elk shows up near the camping-site. But it is no problem when you don´t see an elk because we will tell you where you can find them! Most of the time you can choose your own place to stay, although it sometimes happens that we appoint you to a particular place. The atmosphere at our camping is always friendly, cosy and family-like. Even though the camping-site is almost fully booked it is surprisingly quiet.
